We had a phenomenal two night stay at the seven wonders camp during a tour through Jordan. Sleeping in the Bedouin tents was such a fun and unique experience. I also thought the food was incredible, and the cinnamon tea before bed was divine. It also doesn’t hurt that the stars are amazing at night here.

We stayed 2 nights at the camp. You park right in front. Well located. 3 minutes drive from Little Petra and 15 minutes from Petra (free parking everywhere in Petra)
The staff was also all very friendly and helpful. The owner/manager is also a delight to talk to.
We had one breakfast (5JD) and one diner (10JD) at the camp. The amount of food they give you for that price is just insane. We had like 11 cours meal for diner …
The following day, we had to wake up early so they even made us a lunchbox ❤
If you like animals, they have 2 dogs and few cat. There’s even one cat that followed us in our room and didn’t want to leave 😂
The room was clean, full bathroom, hot water, AC, bath robes, slippers … they have everything you need.

I stayed in the bubble tent 28/10 -30/10, 2023 in the bubble tent. The view is amazing! The room is clean, equipped with robes, slippers, tea coffee pot, coffee and sweets. I highly recommend this camp. Every time I visit Jordan I make sure to stay here. The camp is amazing. The food is superb, the cook makes sure the food presentation is good and the taste of the food is very good. The receptionist is very professional and kind. The management are very professional. I stayed in this camp to celebrate my birthday weekend and I enjoyed the little me-time for myself. Thank you management and staff.

We had an amazing time! The bubble tent is an experience worth having. After a long day hiking in Little Petra & Petra, you come back to a very comfortable bed, and a gorgeous view of the lit up canyons. In the morning, the sunrise highlights all the different colours of the canyons and you see incredible views.

We enjoyed the dinner while we were there and the chef and staff were wonderful. The hospitality and kindness are unparalleled. We had a guide/driver named Muhammad, who was amazing. He brought us to Petra, the Dead Sea, Wadi Mujib, and then to Amman. Muhammad helped us to have some of our favourite days during our trip, and we’ll always be grateful to him.

The camp is very close to Little Petra (3-4 min by car, or about 20 - 25 min walking). Lovely setup, tidy and comfortable, with very nice and helpful staff. The owner even lent us 50 JD at arrival and advised us to go straight to the trail so that we finish it before dark. And we've made it just in time! Since card payments along the way cost 1JD, the cash was very useful.

The staff were very warm and welcomed us in a very friendly spirit. They gave lots of tips and advice, especially about taxi prices and how to explore Petra. The Benduin tent had so much character and was spacious and very clean. The food was delicious, but I would suggest going early as the dining room might be overcrowded. There is a fire every night the friendly staff offered you tea for free and you can smoke sisha for the small fee of JD5, cash only. The hotel accepts credit/debit cards, but you need to pay cash for the sisha. Local musicians perform some really nice Arabic music whilst you enjoy the tea and the smoking.

From the moment we arrived at Seven Wonders Luxury Camp, we were greeted by the friendliest, most open and welcoming staff. They took our bags immediately, gave us a cup of tea. My friend and I had booked a basic tent with one bed mistakenly and did not include dinner in our booking. The owner and Operations Manager Atef immediately took care of us, upgraded us to a bubble suite and invited us to dinner at no extra cost! We'd booked for one night and soon after realized that we have no energy to drive back after finishing Petra, and needed a second night. Although they were busy, they still made sure we were accommodated.

They went above and beyond in service, holding the buffet for us one night because we arrived late, and specially cutting some watermelons for us to cool down.

Aside from the above and beyond service, the location is breath-taking. The suites are gorgeous. Having AC and a private bathroom, robes and slippers is a game changer after a long and exhausting day! Their food is versatile and tasty and their salads and fruits are fresh and plentiful, which is such a special and rare treat. Their service is top notch. They have really special music nights outside that speak to the heart.

All in all, I would choose to go there every time I am in Petra!!

Wonderful place to stay when visiting Petra. It's a short drive away but that distance allows for a secluded spot with a nice view from the grounds. There are things to see and do on site in the evenings (e.g. live music, lit up grounds) or space to have a quieter time. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had limited time for Petra and were given lots of advice and assistance coordinating transportation.

Stayed for 3 days, I must say, this place is perfect in so many ways....

Staff are attentive, they really understand what hospitality is. They took care of me and partner to the extent of preparing cake for my partner bday!!!

We stayed in on of the bubble and it was very clean !!! The bed was comfortable.

With only 10 mins drive to petra and walking distance to little petra (petra back door) this place is just perfect! You don't get the buzzing petra life... means, it's very quite and peacefully and yet, close enough to petra.

I would really recommend this place to travellers!!!

Just came back to USA from Jordan and really miss this place. We only stayed at this camp for 2 days but I have the most fun memories from there. The location is beautiful and tranquil, close to Petra.

We originally were booked for a standard tent but upgraded to a cabin - absolutely loved the cabin! Very comfortable rooms, comfy shower, snacks and coffee in each room. No TV, which is great! Instead, they have campfires with tea in the evenings, and play traditional music.

The breakfast was traditional Jordanian breakfast with eggs, hummus, roasted veggies, etc. it’s a buffet-style breakfast, so it was perfect for us to eat a good meal before going sightseeing.

There are cats and dogs on the property, which was so fun to see! Can pet them all day long if you want 🥰.

Amazing place to spend the night in the Wadi Rum area.

Petra is only 15 minutes drive away

Parking is free

Delicious Meals

And the room was stunning - one of a kind experience.

The best part was the people - very courteous and well informed - especially Atif - he took his time to welcome us then proceeded to point out all the good spots for:

1. Gorgeous Sunset
2. Stargazing (including milky way)
3. Best way to see Petra in the time I had left in Jordan

He’s also got good stories and great guy to talk to.

I had a pleasant and memorable 2 Day tour to Petra, Jordan from Jerusalem (booked via Viator) with a 1 night stay here. This was my first semi-camping/"roughing it" journey and it exceeded my expectations. I wish I had a few more days to take in the atmosphere of the region and the romantic night time vibes. The camp site was beautiful day and night and the views served as a glimpse to Petra's wonders. The grounds were well maintained and safe (FYI friendly dogs roam the site) and the communal bathrooms with showers were clean and modern considering the desert location. I stayed in a basic bedroom tent (that I shared with another solo female traveler) and it had the necessary essentials, such as bedding with ample blankets for cold nights (much needed even in May), towels, table and lighting. The camp also had a dining facility that served buffet-style dishes with vegan and vegetarian options. I would love to return to Jordan and Petra, and in doing so, will likely stay here again but will upgrade to the luxury dome or luxury cabin rooms that have private bathrooms to increase the comfort and relaxation experience.

We have spent only one night here, but everybody very enjoyed.
The place is very quiet and romantic.
The tents and the beds are comfortable.
The bathroom is shared.
The all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinner were excellent!
The host was very friendly, we have got bedouin tee and made campfire with authentic local music. 👍

Not much to add to the other reviews.
Good service. Toilets and showers are as clean as it gets around the area.
Food is okay-good.

What's superior is the location and the experience to stay at a beduine style camp without compromising on any amenities.

One thing that could be improved is that the paths could use some signs so you don't end up at a dead end. No problem unless you're in a rush or don't/can't walk much.

Excellent service, stay and food . 12 min to Petra . At night, enjoy hot tea around a fire and listen to live music .

I love the hospitality and service here. The camp was a wonderful place to stay and get an authentic experience of a bedouin village. 💕 so many good food options for dinner and breakfast! Clean accommodations, showers, and washrooms. Amazing live entertainment and tea around the firepit every night. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I loved the pathways and garden decor, such a beautiful place. It was pretty cool at night and each bed had 4 thick blankets. 💓

Tents for two, either king size beds or separate beds, giant indoor and outdoor lounge area with live music tea and Shisha in the evening. Also great view onto sandstone formations, they have approx. 60 lamps on the rocks that they will at night turn on for Ambiente. Food was also very good. Highly recommendable

The views are breathtaking. We had taken the dome tent and the hype of booking this room is totally worth it. Right from the reception, everything was systematic and we did not have to wait for long. Bear in mind, young children are not allowed in the dome tents as any sharp object can tear them and they take this very seriously. Buffet was decent considering the location and price. The camp fire after an early dinner was great with tea and live music. A perfect desert Bedouin experience amidst mountains, stars and the moon. The host was very cordial and welcoming.

Buffet food could have been better but not really complaining as the entire stay is a lovely experience in itself. Lack of bidet in the toilet is a pain. Plan in advance for this if this is critical to your ablution needs.

A very welcoming and friendly staff. I enjoyed the tea by the fire, the tea was delicious! The availability to smoke shish was also a nice touch. The restrooms were kept extremely clean. I loved it here!

About Petra
Historical place in Jordan

Petra, originally known to its inhabitants as Raqmu or Raqēmō, is a historic and archaeological city in southern Jordan. Famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system, Petra is also called the "Rose City" because of the colour of the sandstone from which it is carved; it was famously called "a rose-red city half as old as time" in a poem of 1845 by John Burgon. source
