We went here twice, the food was exquisite! The women servers are unfortunately quite rude and lack customer service skills. All the men who served were very welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend trying the octopus and the tartar. Very delicious pistachio tiramisu. Reservation is advised.

Classy restaurant with great atmosphere. We went for a a birthday celebration and everything was great. Staff were nice and warm. We ordered beef steak with sides and two amazing deserts. I really enjoyed the chocolate pear. Also if you’re going with tiramisu, I suggest the pistachio flavor.

This place absolutely made our stay in Rome, and I could not recommend it highly enough.

After reading plenty of reviews about how restaurants in Rome would leave tourists unattended and treat them poorly, I was fairly cautious of most places, but stumbled upon this one and decided to take a chance. We didn’t have a reservation and tried to walk in anyways on Dec 30th, and luckily got the last open table before the kitchen opened (only one-two anyways).

The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable. We were constantly checked in on and given recommendations that were some of the best dishes we’ve had in Italy. They were kind enough to answer our questions and seat us for a while on such a busy night. We had a great time and will definitely remember to visit again in the future!

We had the beef tartare as an app which was solid, followed by the duck ragu fettucina (absolutely show-stopping, one of the best dishes we had in Italy), and then the pork cheeks and lamb meatballs. I personally don’t love meatballs but these were solid, and I liked the pork cheeks but they were slightly gamey in case that turns away some people. We ended on the pistachio tiramisu (even though we were absolutely stuffed), and were so glad we tried since it was some of the best I’ve had. Overall an incredible experience.

Amazing food and very friendly service.
Starters were very high quality and quite large portions - my steak tartare was excellent.

We did wait quite a long time for our mains, but our waiter went and checked and sped things up a bit which was appreciated.

Wine list was excellent and quite reasonably priced for the quality. Cheese platter and espresso for dessert was fantastic.

This is a great restaurant. Very central location. We did not have a booking but walked in off the street and they were able to acomodate us for an early sitting even though they were fully booked (we arrived at 7:30pm and they wanted the table back by 9pm - which was plenty of time). We dined as a family with 2 teenage children. Staff were attentive and helped the kids out with selecting drinks. Menu has some classic items on there (carbonara, matriciana and caccio e pepe - all amazing) but there are some other interesting dishes on there with a twist). Atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing but not too loud. Venue itself is beautiful and you really feel you are having a beautiful Roman experience. Highly recommended

I enjoy a lot the elegant late 30’s bar interior every time! Simple fresh dishes and fine quality drinks! I love my classic salad-cocktail therapies at “IL MARCHESE”.

Lovely spot for a cocktail or two after chasing Caravaggio around town. Very friendly and helpful staff. In the shade with a cool breeze in the afternoon. Extensive and well balanced cocktail menu. Life is grand…

We took a mixology class here. The bartender was very knowledgeable. We expected an introduction to mixed Italian drinks, instead got an introduction to Amaro and the different styles of the very Italian liquor. The class was informative and the waiter knowledgeable, but not organized or structured. The atmosphere is typical Roman with a few tables for 2 outside if the weather is nice. We did not eat, but the food going by us was beautiful and the wait staff attentive. If we return to Rome we will hope to visit this place again and try the menu.

One of the best meals we had on a week stay in Rome. The crusted tuna appetizer was an in expected star (and recommended by the staff) as well as the best carbonara I've had anywhere. Great wine recommendations as well. I highly recommend as it's clear why Michelin Guide does as well.

Very authentic and warm atmosphere made by the staff for a wonderful service. I enjoyed a delicious dinner with perfect wine pairing. Although I made a short term booking at peak time they squeezed me in with ease. Very friendly, skilled and attentive staff. Recommended for a revival…

We visited with a large group for a birthday celebration and were very well received.
The staff was welcoming and spoke good English.
We had pre-ordered some starters like cold cuts, artichoke, beef tartare and cured salmon, which were all very enjoyable.
The menu overall had a lot of interesting and not so traditional dishes - great for someone who wants to get away from the roman food scene for one night.
We had the risotto with raw tuna and sea urchin pasta, both of which were well executed.
Most of all, I loved the interior decor and atmosphere of the restaurant, It’s definitely worth a visit.

Everything was very good, starting with the food and ending with the service. We’ve ordered the Gricia pasta that had cheek pork and it was super tasty. Perfect combo with a glass of wine. For dessert 2 types of tiramisu. I think I liked the pistachio tiramisu better than the classic one.

Fried artichoke was really crispy and tasty, beef cheek was very tender and delicious. To finish the evening with some dessert, Tiramisu was the perfect choice.

Crew was prompt and friendly. It was an enjoyable dinner overall.

Wow! You must go here! This is one of the best restaurant experience i ever had. Not only the food is excellent, the staff is taking care of you like it was a Michelin restaurant and the drinks are like magic.

Really high quality in everything, especially the giant collection of Amaro (bitters). If you ever had a Negroni and love it, this is for sure the best place in the world. Europes first Amaro bar.

We did go here for lunch and loved it so much so we went back for dinner and drinks the same day.

A must visit when you are in Roma!

Rantastic restaurant in the heart of Rome. Fine and varied wine list, with an amazing cellar and wine bar. Traditional Roman dishes. Excellent price quality given the area definitely to recommend to everyone. I will be back to try more!

I love Rome and especially its cuisine, finally a typical osteria we found it! My husband and I dined in this wonderful osteria that is a real treasure to explore in Rome, their dishes carefully detailed and served with elegance where you can feel all the flavor of the Roman tradition with all its typical flavors.
