MUST MUST MUST visit for any souvenirs and gifts for friends family. They sell real stuff.
But the price could be different from each branch. The one in Prati is the biggest and cheapest!!!!

Special Italian deli. Has lots of canned goods and wines. Worth buying food souvenirs here.

THE fine food store in Rome. Romans are traditionally picky in what they eat, so a store with Castroni's reputation is by definition superb. They have several locations in Rome, but the main store where you can literally find everything is the one in Via Cola di Rienzo. Staff is not only courteous, but also somehow endowed with encyclopedic memories. Ask for even the most abstruse item, and without a second's hesitation, they'll take you there. No laptops, smartphones or other devices necessary.

Great place to buy gourmet olive oil, spice mix, pasta etc to take back home! The team also helped us bubble wrap everything!

Very high quality products, perfect store for presents from Rome. You can buy the typical Cacio e pepe sauce for pasta, great pasta or very good chocolate, especially rare sorts. I love this shop because it has a great offer.

Great place, with friendly staff and a great selection of many types of delicatessen.
You get in and you see yourself enjoying things like olive oils from southern italy, specially marinated anchovies, croissants and mach more. Well done guys!

This place is a real Aladdin's cave to stock the larder with: a lovely selection of specialist teas and difficult-to-find delights, if you're that way inclined: think marmite, Colman's mustard, cranberry sauce, mincemeat & Christmas puddings. The more local products look excellent too. I'll be back for more!

Probably one of the best if not the best shop of its kind in the centre of Rome, great variety of among the finest products, some of them only available here. Great place for refined palates.

Similar selection to other gourmet food shops but the prices are a little lower as many products are Castroni products rather than the higher-priced options you find at most other gourmet shops.
