We had dinner here on our trip to Iceland. It was so delicious! We had unique foods like horse and plaise, and it was incredibly delicious. The server was such a friendly young woman as well, and really helped us to make great selections we'd enjoy. Best of all, she picked the best wine to pair with each course, and it really was perfect.

Our only complaint was just how shockingly expensive it all was. Like, $300 for two people for 2 apps and 2 entrees, plus wine pairings. But, hey, it's vacation, so go for it!

One of few places in Iceland that does food right. While the items can be pricey, the effort to ensure quality is there.

Try the fish and chips. The star of the plate is the house made tartar sauce. The tartar has capers and has a feint flavor that mix so well eating both the fish and chips.

While other places will burn the fish and chips, Vox has perfected the flavor and presentation.

Definitely a worthwhile place.

I had a Christmas themed set dinner at this restaurant. Excellent service and food was great. It is attached to the Hilton hotel which makes it very convenient.

Great food, especially the lamb which is a must have. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food is well presented. 3 courses for 2 people around £120 without drinks which is no more than you would spend in a restaurant of this quality in the UK.

Having stayed at the Hilton all week we have eaten twice here. Firstly the service has been impeccable both occasions waiting staff are brilliant and food has always been prompt.

The first time we ate we had more reasonable priced options of the burger and fish and chips both lovely and to a good standard even though being the cheaper meals on the menu.

The second time we came in we went for the five course meal with paired wine. All five courses were delicious and paired with a lovely set of wines and one pale ale to start. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend, don't be put off by the slighting increased price tag it is worth it!

This place is amazing! We enjoyed loads of kinds of dishes such as plaice and horse. Services are sophisticated too, and we could choose from tremendous numbers of wines. Moreover, I really recommend the shellfish soup.

You can tell why this has a Michelin Star. We ate here several times staying in the hotel and everything was flawless. The menu seems simple but everything in each dish is cooked to perfection. Even the bread they served was top notch. Highly recommend if you’re in that area of Reykjavík and want a delicious dinner. (Photo of the duck confit)

Stayed at Nordica and was exhausted from traveling so rather than wander downtown I stayed at the hotel restaurant and I am glad I did. The lamb was exquisite, as was the wine varietals. Ruth was attentive and was a very pleasant server. I never ran dry of beverage. Looking forward to going back one day.

Arrived around 12:45pm for some lunch and found they had a brunch buffet. I have to say everything I ate was pretty great except the fruit, which was good. Salad was super fresh, lamb delicious and juicy, my favorite was their mushrooms. The deserts were also delicious, crembrulee was my favorite. Considering eating out costs between $20-$50/person in Iceland, I thought the value for $35 was great for being able to try so many great foods. I would highly recommend their brunch. I think their dinners are likely to be good too. We might go try it.

Visited as a couple in April 2017.
Between us we ordered plaice and horse - both were very tasty and well presented.
Very polite and formal staff and a great all round experience.
The official dinner menu is very expensive so be prepared!
