You must stop at this little joint in Cherrapunjee main market. You will get to taste authentic Khasi food including Jadoh. The place is jam packed with locals who are waiting for their take-aways indicating how good the place is. A great experience overall!

Amazing authentic Khasi tribal food in the Sohra/ Cherrapunji market.

A bunch of benches along the wall for you to sit on, and a food counter with an array of dishes on display. They had varieties of pork, country chicken, beef balls and a set of chutneys.

Hot tea was continually being served. The rosogolla at the end was pretty decent too.

Definitely a fabulous place to visit when in Sohra for authentic Khasi tribal food.

This is Jadoh, with lot of other things like beef ball and pork dry and also the bamboo shoot chatni(tirumbai). Tirumbai was very strong in flavour. This is a hate it or love it situation.

The restaurant is what it says, you get the local food.
Personally I felt it was a little expensive for a place like this. Apart from that it was good.

Small eatery with good Local Jadoh thali. Clean n hygienic. Owner is very friendly. Veg, egg n chicken options are also available. You can try once.
