It was a great experience overall.
The rooms are rustic and big. Staff is pretty helpful.
They cater our needs with all their heart. It just takes time which is not a bad thing, since they make everything fresh and their kitchens are far apart.
We ourself have to keep mindful to order in advance if in rush.
Food is delicious.
View is just WOW. If you are lucky and its not cloudy, you will get to see the best sunset from here.
Resort also has a River stream view which is absolutely fantastic.
Only the road to the resort is not an actual road. Its just rocks and stones but it should not be a problem if you are on a Car.

It was a great experience staying here in the past.

Recently I had booked 1 month prior but due to a medical emergency i had to undergo a surgery. On producing relevant reports I got 100% refund on cancellation. It was a very good experience and i appreciate the management and team for this gesture.
Will stay here everytime I visit Meghalaya.

One of my favourite stays. Experienced the most beautiful sunset there. The staff is very polite and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Everything is perfect.

I have been to this place many times. Location is awesome far from the city. Nice scenic view and weather. Good for pre wedding shoots, camping, party, honeymoon etc. Must visit to sa-i-mika to explore sohra.

I had a great stay here. Rooms are well maintained and you can get a good view. Food is quite good too, although options are limited. The approach road is however not good and needs maintenance of potholes. Overall an excellent stay.

Room is specious, clean and hygienic. Washroom and toilet is very good 👍
Service was quick.

Mobile network is available and pretty good.

You can order food before reaching to hotel.
Breakfast you can order while having dinner so it will be ready in morning on time

For us bonfire was complementary which i like.. staff behaviour is very welcoming and pleasant.

I think this hotel is best place to stay in cherapunji .Recently I visited there .. it was a very nice experience. Hotel rooms were quite clean and Beautiful. The view you will get from room's window was amazing. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

I had been to this place in Jan and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed with family and friends and the rooms were quite cozy.. Waking up to such a scenic beauty. recommend everyone to visit this place..!! The food is also good.. Noodles were totally scrumptious.

We have stayed there for two nights .. the stay was really good, but few things would like to mention that the way to the resort , the road needs to be improved with the help of government as it’s really pathetic. The food was yummy, but compare it with first day. The quantity was less in the next day. It was raining cats and dogs, instead of that the service people were so professional that they bought the food on time.
There was an incident happened with us, our car tyre got puncture and we ask for the help from the resort people and they came on time and helped us which is really appreciated.. would like to suggest few things to improve the service i.e provide intercom and Wi-Fi connection. They should give security to the resort. Apart from this, every thing was good, would like to recommend to everyone. Thank you!!!🙏❤

Location is awesome . Roads leading to resort is not so good . Rooms are clean and luxurious. As a vegetarian not my preference as they cook non veg and veg in the same kitchen. We stayed in naitung 6 ( a ) room for 3 days . In this room near the balcony's window there are some gaps in the tiles . I can see some stairs from those gaps . But overall experience was absolutely awesome. 💯 would recommend it .

Only flaw approach road

I have been to Meghalaya in the monsoon of 2023 and was in search of an off-beat hotel stay to unwind from the urban hustle. Then i found this beautiful property online, which was exactly in resemblance to the images displayed on their official website. The property gives the feeling of staying in the wild while not compromising on the facilities and the hospitality. With its raw and rustic outlook, we feel like we are staying in a replica of Scotland. Perfectly nestled in the hills and with a stream to overlook, the stay over the weekend was splendid.

Would highly recommend visitors to check this place out for a stay in Sohra/Cherrapunji.
The stay was also friendly on the pocket for the facilities it provides.
Coming to the food, Mwaahhh. Mouthwatering delicacies in pork and chicken. If you are a lover of pork, it is a must-try.
The staff was super friendly and prompt with their service. Special shoutout to David, Hope, and Transius who with their hospitality and timely service made our stay in Sa I Mika even better.
Would definitely choose to stay in this place again if i plan a visit to Meghalaya.

The view, the rooms, the cleanliness, bathrooms,the staff ,the food everything on point. I was very impressed with the way the rooms were kept. So worth it. I had a really nice time. Definitely keeps up with its reputation.

Superb maintenance, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. Food was kickass and fireplace in the room stood out for me, with a dedicated person to help with the bonfire. Great hospitality. Food service can be improved and there needs to be someone managing or looking at what the staff is doing in the kitchen as everyone was doing everything inside the kitchen hence the kitchen staff seemed lil confused leading to delay in food service. But overall i loved my stay here!

Sa-i-Mika has a pleasant ambience and is located in a quiet serene atmosphere by the side of a lake. There are very many cottages, each of them having different capacities and the costs also vary accordingly. Food is available in the kitchen on demand. Accompanying drivers get a bed, for stay. A small children's park is also there. The lake is inaccessible as of now. If it rains at night, the sound of the water on the roofs do affect the sleep. There is a small shop in the front, to buy essential items and snacks. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay.

The cottages are worth the money because of the views. The resort's location gives you the mesmerizing sunrise scenes. Pancakes and club sandwich is a must try for breakfast. Staffs are too good and humble, in such a big resort they are the best support you will get. Overall, it has been an amazing stay.

Loved the stay in our rugged mountain hut with fireplace in the smokey, cloudy "scotland of the east". The terrain is quite large with plenty of space between the buildings. We could also park our bikes right outside on the patio, and the views from there were phenomenal.

The relaxed vibe of the employees gave us a very good feeling about this place. Not too stiff and formal, but with high quality service none-the-less. Also, the rustic look of the huts, restaurant and reception really add to the experience. Well built with quality materials and workmanship. Also,... Love the fireplace! Truely adds value!

A small note,... It would be great if the pool would be fixed, as it looks like a great hangout.
