Lord Jesus Church or Prabhu Jesu church is an awesome place. It has been good for hospitality and the place is conducive to stay because it is the center of the Kolkata City.

A beautiful church with a lovely environment. Best place to pray and feel the presence of God.

My lovely Parish would be a definite visit being one of the oldest parishes around this area over 160 years old. Sunday masses happens with some nice sermon. Lovely priests around for any help required.
Being renovated now. Once done its gonna be more amazing.

It was my favorite Church with a single floor prayer hall. Having such a Gothic structure with huge elevation was under renovation for last three years, now came to a shape. It has been transformed into two floors now. Two slanting evacuation exit was made on either side of the Church. First floor to be used as prayer alter and the ground floor will be let out for social functions to meet the maintenance cost of the entire complex including the Church. Not a bad idea at all.

This is a very beautiful church. I really loved the ambience of the place and was very happy after i had spend a few hours there.

First time I have seen a church singing prayers in bangla , moreover the picture hanging in the wall discription are written in Bengali . It's so clam and peaceful .

Very nice church. After renovations, it's looking beautiful. Must come for 8 AM mass on Sundays because the english choir is amazing.

Prabhu Jisur Girja was a protestant church which was bought by the Jesuit Fathers and converted into a Catholic Church. It is a huge church with a tall spire which can be seen from far. The church is very spacious, though looks very old. It is undergoing renovations now and would look better soon. The campus also house Chitrabani, which is the media centre of Calcutta Jesuits.

stunning region the premises of that place is smooth and tidy. aside from that the humans there are very beneficial the young people is cheerful. The priest there may be additionally beneficial. The humans working there's additionally useful.

Prabhu Jisur Girja is a good old church administered by the Jesuits of Kolkatta Province. It is a very old church renovated. People interested in Church architecture should visit this church.

Second floor is under construction. It will take a month or two to complete it. Awesome Church. Big and old.
