Very nice place to stay. The service was very good. We stayed via NorthEast tour guide. Room allocated to us was nice. The food provided was very good as well.

We stayed at Escapade Inn for 3 nights and am glad we chose this place. It is just off the main road and location is perfect to go to a lot of places.
The food is amazing. They request you to order in advance and all food is freshly prepared. The veg and non-veg food is yummy.
The staff is very courteous and ever smiling. They will give all required information you would need to go anywhere around.
The rooms are spacious and clean and cozy.
Definitely much recommended.

Such a beautiful place with amazingly warm people managing it! 4 of us stayed there for a duration of 3 days and were really happy with our stay there. Rooms are spacious and clean and the location of the homestay is just perfect! Adding good food to the mix is the icing on the cake 😊

If you are visiting Sohra (Cherrapunji) with your family, then this is the place you should be considering for stay.

Nearby to highway, the staffs are very courteous and the food served ianvery tasty.
Rooms are well maintained and very spacious. The staff there also helped us with a car wash.

Both standard (₹3000, ground floor, no balcony) and delux rooms are good here (₹3600,1st floor, balcony and kettle available).

Note: The day you stay here, you can cover the following falls by starting the next morning in the following order:
Masawa Falls,Daithlen Falls, Wei sodong falls, Prut Falls, Janailar falls and Lyngkiar falls.

Searched a lot of Hotels in Cherrapunji and finally took a chance upon this one. It's a wonderful Hotel. The rooms are really big and clean. The food is a bit expensive but the quantity is good. The staffs here are extremely polite and are there for your every Beck and call. They even came and killed a big spider which had got into our room. And then they even apologized for the intrusion of the said unwanted guest! They do have some shortcomings related to frequent power cuts and hot water, but they do have an inverter which atleast keeps the washroom light and one passage light running. So overall a very good stay for me.

This place is really very nice. Spotless big rooms with spotless, clean washrooms. The location is very good. The food was really good and tasty too. And the staff were always smiling and ready to help. I don't click any pics as the pics on here really do reflect the real room quality and essence. The food I would say is a tad expensive, but that's understandable given it's location n all. All in all highly recommend place in Sohra.
Stayed on the 4th, 5th & 6th of October 2022

The staff is very welcoming and well behaved. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The services are awesome. They serve complimentary breakfast on Christmas.
They have all the facilities like geyser, hot water kettle, blower in the rooms. They have bonfire facilities at night which costs Rs. 300 for 45 mins to 1 hour.

The whole place has a very warm and cozy vibe and feels homely ^‿^

There's a market place nearby which is 20 mins walking distance. Try to avoid going there during the dark.

Just 3 words to describe about this particular stay.. "undoubtedly the best".
Though i have already said what i needed to say about my experience here.. still i want to mention a few things. Have stayed in many many hotels, lodges, homestay but this one is best in every way. Firstly the rooms.. it was not just clean but superclean, spotless clean. Even the bathroom was spotless. I couldn't find even a small dirt anywhere in the room.
The view is perfect, just about 200 meters from the main road.
Thirdly the food. Its just homelike. Its freshly cooked, hygienic, not much use of masala and yummy. Their special escaped chicken dish is a must try. And the breakfast was yummy too. I have also checked their kitchen, totally clean n organised and total hygiene maintained.
And lastly the biggest positive point is the staff members. Each of the staff members are so friendly, helpful and welcoming including the manager ma'am, what a sweet lady she was. Thank you everyone for giving us the best experience.

Had a great stay well maintained big rooms, food was also good, well behavioured staff.
Regular power cuts due to heavy rains. They have generators but they dont use it all times.

We drove past Escapade Inn to find other hotels beyond, but the hotels were full and the road was so terrible. We came back and requested to see the rooms here. We were shown 2 rooms - both clean, big and well kept. The bottom floor room was 500 rupees cheaper than the top and we chose to stay on the top floor.
The staff was very kind, welcoming and polite and the room was extremely comfortable with all basic amenities. We are really happy we chose this hotel as it was just off the main road, making it easy to get on the main road, go sightseeing and come back without spending time and torturing ourselves by driving for several kms on the pothole road going to the hotels ahead.
We stayed for 2 nights, and during that time we ordered one dinner (which was great) and had two breakfasts. The puri bhaji was ok and the bread omelette is bland/avoidable. Tea is good - made to your taste.
Would definitely recommend a stay here.

FOOD- 5star without a shadow of a doubt, quality and quantity is just SUPERB as it offers all types of dishes.
SERVICE-5star again,the fact that it only has six rooms enables the customers to get the best out of it.
LOCATION- For someone who wants to escape the hustle bustle of life, here's your pick and very safe too for family travellers,it also offers number of tourist sites nearby.
HOSPITALITY-Well mannered staffs and this goes down to good management.
Highly recommended by me.

Decent place for the price paid for .
Double rooms with balcony costed ₹3600/- per night which was decent considering the room and the location.
the staff is very profesional, rooms are cleaned properly and also equipped with all the necessary amenities.Would strongly recommend it for future visits.

Though a little expensive, its a must place to stay in. You will get here everything you need when you are traveling with your family. Room is well maintained and spacious, furnishing and linen are clean, they provide room heater, also. There are very few descent option to stay in Sohra, and this place is one of them. Host is very cordial and cooperative. They do not have a concept of in-house restaurant but they will arrange veg/non-veg food as per your requirement from nearby restaurants/food joint. View is nice and you can explore near by areas by yourself. Host also advise us about the place which we should visit and we should not visit after analyzing our expectation from Sohra. They accept all digital payment (it may not work sometime when weather is bad, as there is no network to make it work) I came here after spending a day in Shillong, and as per my experience whatever services we have availed from them, they have provided at reasonable price.

My heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for helping us in so many things during our stay. All the staffs are so humble, innocent and grounded and it is so difficult to return to the busy metro world, once you have stayed in this hotel in Sohra. I am definitely planning to come back here.

Plus, it has great views from the hotel and I used to spend my mornings looking at the overcast sky and waking up to thundering rain. It also has nice trails to walk around and I loved doing that.
