Emisoba Homestay cum Restaurant

Writing a review on food we had, especially for fish lovers.We tried their local fish and fish fry thali, loved it! We were sight seeing meghalaya and went twice to have their thali. This place is located in a beautiful place right beside a waterfall. You can have food whlist enjoying nature.

I tried the orange roots restaurant too, but this place has the best & authentic veg thali you might have. As I was traveling the whole day, I saw the board and I thought to try their food. So I ordered the veg thali and the moment I put the food in my mouth, the flavor exploded in my mouth(take small small amount of everything then take a bite), it was fresh & like a warm hug after a tiring day.
If you are visiting Sohra, try eating at this restaurant the environment is friendly, and people will greet you with a smile.

Nice hotel located at a scenic point on Cherrapunji Highway. Small rooms but enough for a homestay. Charges are moderate and they have very friendly appearance. Food is very good specially the Chicken Thali. The view from the balcony is awesome. No fan and AC in the room as those are not required even. Food price is not so much. No tea, coffee after 6:30 PM and no dinner served after 8:30.

Both were good. Curries along with the rice was also good.

I had awesome experience here, we had veg thali (very nice) and fish fry (it was very fresh and tasty ). I was looking for a local place for lunch and by chance I found this place. Small place but fresh and tasty food served with love.

We had our LUNCH at this place while travelling from Cherrapunjee to shillong. Located at a scenic place, the service and dishes were good.

Found this place while searching for a local place for dinner in Cherrapunjee. We ordered Thalis, fish fry, chicken dry fry and chicken chow. Every dish was amazing, especially the fish curry for which they use the local fish. The Lady who was servicing us was very friendly and had a lovely smile on her face. It was a fantastic food experience.

Best resturant on the way to cherapunji. Neat and clean with friendly helping loyal staff. They don't over charge for visitors. Veg thali was amazing. They are proving room facilities also . You can stay here with good price

Very tasty and homely food. Totally worth the price. Nice hospitality. Please be patient if it's rushy ( it usually is). Give the girls running it some time. Definitely recommend it. You won't regret staying by n eating here :)
