There are less people here which makes it the best place for you to take a dip. There were no people for most of the time that we took a dip. You might end up getting cramps coz the water is freezing cold. Have your swimmer friend next to you for back up😂 You might also get disoriented momentarily after you take a dip. Don't freak out and google something. This seems to common since the water is that cold.

Great place to swim in the nature. The water is turquoise green in color and very clean. You can even cook your own food here beside the pool.

Great place for a days outing/picnic with family/friends.

Its about 1.5 hour's drive from Shillong towards Sohra. The place is called Mawkma.

Best time to visit would be the drier part of the year - late Sept to early Feb.

Its a beautiful clean place, so be responsible tourists, and don't litter the place. Carry back your trash or drop it in designated bins placed at multiple spots.

very less crowded which makes it best place to take a dip and chillout with friends and family. there is also a changing room for ladies, so women travelers can also swim without having to worry about it.
