The location of the consulate is in Ballygunge Circular Road. If you are going from st Lawrence high school towards Ballygunge phari crossing, taking the main Ballygunge Circular Road then, approximately in the middle there is a government housing complex, on the right hand side on the main road. There is a lane(on the left hand side) just opposite to that government housing complex which is known as promothesh Barua Sarani. After entering the street go straight and take the one and only right hand turn which is a blind lane. The last house in this lane is the myanmar consulate. The only problem is that, to reach the consulate you won't get any public bus, only private car, taxi till the gate of the consulate or shared auto till the gate of the government housing complex, and then by walk.
The consulate has a small but air-conditioned waiting hall with few chairs for the applicants and a big center table to fill up the forms, write something, sign documents and all. Inside the hall itself there is a counter marked as "visa counter", where one can submit the visa application, fees and all also the visa application form is available as well. The staffs are very friendly and speak local language (Bengali). I went to this consulate on 23/09/2019 to submit my own visa application. The total submission time and paying the visa fees required, is less than 10 minutes only. The whole system is very easy, smooth and user friendly.
