Dr Kaushik Pandit

Efficient doctor and listens to the patient. Doesn't misguide and doesn't give a lot of tests. Tries to go to the root of the health problem to cure it.

He us a good doctor.

Since last 3 year's my self visiting him at asansol chamber ,feel his warm behaviour and medicine work's well.

Worst doctor, Don't consult him .

Today, 26th Aug 2021, myself and my wife Mrs. Jayati Pal (Aged 38 Years) have gone for periodic doctor consultation with Dr.Kaushik Pandit (Endocrinologist Registration No : 47846) at Fortis Medical
center , Minto park , Kolkata. We regret to inform that we have been totally disappointed , upset and insulted with Doctor's rude and in-human behavior.

My wife has been suffering from Graves disease , hypothyroidism along with chronic anemia. She has been under Dr Kaushik Pandit's treatment for last 3 years . As per last prescription of Dr Pandit
dated 22nd April 2021 , we went for prescheduled consultation of Dr Pandit today at Fortis Medical Center with all requisite Blood test reports of Free T4 , THS , CBC , iron .TIBC , Ferritin . We had also done a Blood test for Liver function test at our own wish . This may be the cause of his anger and rude behavior . Just after submission of all the reports to doctor , as a patient party I have asked a very simple question " Doctor pandit why my wife's ferritin level and iron Binding capacity is
low " ( as indicated in the range given in the report )

Dr Pandit immediately started abusing and insulting me asking several question like :

1) Do you know what is ferritin is ?
2) Why you have done Liver Function test ?
3) By Knowing Bilirubin and enzyme level how you can understand liver condition ?
4) I have not asked for the LFT test - why you have done liver function test ?
5) Why not you have done CT of Brain or thorax at your own ?

After all these question DR pandit completed laptop entries in no time , gave us a fresh print copy of prescription and rang the bell for next patient .

By listening and noticing these all situation just within 5-8 minutes my wife became traumatized and shocked for a moment . However she asked doctor Pandit : " Doctor How I am now? What to do next ?
Doctor Pandit overlooked and did not response to her question . By seeing all this , for a moment we were shocked and we came out from the chamber . Outside the chamber room my wife became traumatized , felt very upset and broke down with tears .

We have waited today for 3 hours and paid Rs, 1500 for such type of consultation and in human behavior. Covid 19 has taught us many things , in one side we are really grateful to all health worker and frontline worker , at the same time really surprised with such inhuman and unsympathetic behavior from such an experienced Doctor.

It seem Dr pandit himself is a egoistic person and a pshyco -patient . I am surprised to see how Fortis is allowing a patient to treat a patient. There should always a human touch, mutual belief and
empathy between patient and Doctor relationship .

Doctor Kaushik pandit's todays rude and inhuman behavior had made a dark spot in our mind , which can not be washed out and we have decided not to appear before him .

Worst Doctor in kolkata. Please don't visit him. Both my parents are diabetic and they are visiting this doctor since 2019. We thought since he sits in Belle vue then he might be a good doctor. But by taking his medicines my mother has faced some really dropping in sugar levels. So much so that it went down to 48 just last night which threatened her life. Luckily, my mom is safe now.
He quoted " No matter how much low is your sugar level, you have to take insulin " Which in my sense is threatening. Even his behaviour is worst and charges high amount of fees. It's not worth it.
Please don't visit him, I am telling by my experience.

Wrost dr poor behaviour and poor quality practice. if you care urself and ur family do not visit this dr.. He has turned completed money minded this dr. does not care his patient.

He don't deserve to be a doctor. Why he offers himself for treat a patient I don't understand? It's simple if you get paid do your job and if your attitude, arrogance etc comes in your path then sit at your home. No need to tell people that what you are...

Misdiagnosed and mistreated my mom. Rude and only cares about money - forces people out of his chamber after a short while to get to the next asap. Avoid at all costs.

Consultation fees is high (Rs.2000)
Not familiar with the patient party.

Visiting charge 1500/- but behaviour is very poor, totally unsatisfied. Today i have visited at Durgapur Chamber.

Worst doctor ever. Only cares about money. Very rude. Please dont waste your time for this doctor.
