Incredibly friendly, we just popped in for a look but staff were very welcoming.

Great service as a first time shopper. Andy contacted me via phone to tell me they didn't have the paint I had ordered at the time, but he replaced it with a higher quality product rather than just refunding me. He even offered me advice anytime I need it since I told him I'm an amateur so not too sure on different paints etc. Definitely will be using again

I ordered a couple of small bottles of paint and thinners. They where posted super quick and arrived in some of the best packaging I've had delivered, the bottles were individually hot sealed in their own thick plastic bags and both in a good size box packed with polystyrene chips all at a competitive price. I will definitely come back for more supplies. I have had smashed bottles arrive from other shops and it gives good piece of mind that sms pack their products so well. Also, love your build videos on YT!

I subscribe to SMS on YouTube and really enjoy the builds so I chose to go online and check out the shop, really surprised at the fantastic choice of products for the modeller. I placed my first order, the website is really user friendly and the delivery charge is comparable with other retailers, the products arrived on time and very well packaged. Andy is knowledgeable and helpful with a good stock of modelling accessories and paints as well as models. His on-line service is exemplary. I ordered late on a Monday and the items arrived on the Wednesday morning. He keeps his stock levels up to date so you know what he has and can order with confidence.

Was looking for a very specific airplane model to give to my elderly father-in-law for xmas. Must admit I first tried Amazon but delivery would've taken too long. I spoke to a very pleasant man at Scale Model Shed and he promised to get the model to me within 3-4 days (which it did) for less than on Amazon. Fantastic. In the future, I will order from Scale Model Shed.

After ordering I received a call apologising that the item was without packaging and was the last in stock and asking if I was okay with that, also that the postage charge would be refunded if I was. Yep, I was happy with that.

Dispatch was rapid too, and 48 hour tracked, so definitely happy.

Last, and nothing to do with Scale Model Shed, the package then got stuck for two days with the post office 25 miles away. Ah well, you can't have everything!

But huge thanks to Scale Model Shed for their overall levels of service; perhaps they'd consider taking over the UK postal service too...
