The Kitchen on Silver Street

Our first visit to this place and I can guarantee it won't be the last!!
It's quirky & fun inside, not the biggest place and not over many tables, better for that because you're not rubbing elbows with those sat at the table next to you!!
The food was amazing too, an astonishing breakfast selection is available, lunches are tasty, plentiful and very well cooked.
As they point out in there....they don't serve fast food, just good food as fast as they can, and the old adage that the best things in life are worth waiting for certainly holds true here!!
There is a cake selection too, which is very extensive!!
As I've mentioned in other reviews elsewhere in the country.....don't walk past, walk IN, you won't regret it.
I would suggest that given the size of the property it does get very busy at times, so if you're looking to do something special I would book well in advance, especially for Sunday lunches!!

Fabulous place to go to. Had a delicious Afternoon Tea, served on beautiful bone china. Such a lovely friendly atmosphere. Totally recommend .

Stopped in for breakfast on a whim. Had a lovely warm welcome from the lady working inside, opted for a full English and was not disappointed. Beautiful food, nice atmosphere and great service. Will certainly return!

Went there after many years. Took a friend who had never been before. Good choice of cakes. No prices shown on cakes. Had a cappuccino and a Latte. Followed by carrot cake and Avocado and courgette cake. Good atmosphere. Did not have to book a table. Good price overall. Would recommend.

What a lovely little place. We stopped for a late lunch for a panini. The food was great and Lin who served us was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Excellent. 2nd time we have been in here. Great range of food from breakfasts and mains to a fantastic range of cakes.

What a result, just off the A303, beats any services around. Great value, great food, great staff, great find!

What a special place. Best fish finger sandwich I've ever had and handmade chips to die for. A pure delight. Run by a couple of lovely ladies with a sense of humour. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Really nice service in a beautyfull location with good food. Love it.

Food and drink all good value. If they are busy, you may have to wait a while to be served, but as long as you're not in a great hurry, this is a lovely friendly place for drinks, breakfast and meals throughout the day.

We have frequented The Kitchen on Silver Street quite a few times. Always great food and service. I had the homemade chilli recently, Great chilli. Tables are limited as the space is quite compact but due to this there is always friendly banter and atmosphere.

As good as it gets . Stopped off for a bite. Usually places like this have good food and atmosphere. But this one is clean and service is good.
Will come back for more.

Highly recommend this little cafe as a mid-journey stop.

We called up on the day in advance and reserved a table for 9am which wasn’t essential but as we were en route and didn’t want to hang around it was a good idea. The place quickly filled up. There’s probably only 6 or so tables inside.

Breakfast menu options were great and tasty, I ordered off menu using a combination of their options and they were very accommodating.

Located near to lots of lovely little shops too.

Service with a smile and we will definitely be back here if passing again.
