Currys

A very large store located in a retail outlet with some other shops. Well organised and so easy to navigate. Staff were very helpful and profer solutions to challenges posed by customers. I didn't get the exact phone I wanted but a staff suggested another one which I have used for about a month and I'm liking it. I've also got a laptop from them.

The staff at Madford are so lovely! Extremely helpful and assisted us in no time. Josh helped us out today and found us the best deal. Thank you everyone on Boxing Day!!

Went in to collect an online order to save having it delivered and pick up quicker. Store has a lot of stock on display and helpful staff. It is good to be able to see the items if required and test them before purchasing. Took a bit of time for staff to locate the order but easy process and lots of car parking spaces. Well presented store and helpful staff.

We went to Currys to buy a new tv. Extremely helpful salesman who advised on the most economical package for the TV we were interested in, so we came away with a whole lot of extras for the same price. I highly recommend Currys at Daybrook 😊

I wanted a new Laptop because another supplier had been messing me around. I went to Currys with my wife and we were served by Nadeem,he was very knowledgeable and we soon chose a laptop. The whole experience at Currys was really professional.

Update on previous review:
Came back again to browse and purchase a few items. The experience was completely opposite of the previous one. Staff were really friendly, had a lovely chat with them. One member saw us in a queue and asked us if we wanted to come over to a different desk to pay quicker! They even gave us free 3 year Care & Repair for our purchase! Was a really pleasant experience and prices were the same or similar when compared to other online shops. Great job, definitely put a smile on our faces!

To be honest it's quite a faff to come to the store to buy something. When browsing everyone comes around to "help" but when you actually need to buy something - good luck, we were told it would be upwards of 10 minutes as everybody was on lunch. Employees seem to do the bare minimum (for example not mentioning delivery costs and just pointing to their screen when they ask you what day you want your appliance delivered - something quite important when the day you choose could cost £30, and you're not familiar with their in store computer system..) or apparently don't have access to sell you things due to lack of keys. Quite annoying when it's literally easier to order online for delivery or collection, but we thought we'd pop in as lived close. Maybe we've caught them at the wrong time, but it took almost an hour to buy an appliance and another item and we felt it was a pretty miserable experience, no personalised service and no benefit at all to coming in store versus shopping online.

Used a click & collect for a same day washing machine. The order was ready very quickly and we were helped by a staff member to load it in the car. Would highly recommend this store. Staff and friendly too.

Great place for game conses tvs and phones plus all things electric you will need for your home

Popped in to enquire about a repair, not having the details to hand a member of staff looked up the purchase history, found said item and was able to offer the information to help with our enquiry.

Unfortunately for us being some five years old they could not help us in this instance but fantastic service on the whole.

Ordered online and picked up next day. Staff in store friendly. They delivered on the price match too, as cost of item was £50 less on day of collection. Just a quick online chat sorted this. So I would use this company again.

10/10 would recommend Daniel! I went there today thinking I had a virus installed on my laptop and he took my device straight away. He spent 2 hours running out all sorts of thorough background checks all in front of me explaining each step. He even helped me choose the right anti-virus program for my needs and installed it. My device is running all smoothly and all protected now. Would definitely recommend going there if you have any problems.
