The Woodlark Inn

The restaurant area is quite small, and is very popular, so booking is a 'must'.
The staff are warm and welcoming and the tables a reasonable size.
There is a standard menu, with specials on 3 chalk boards around the room.
There is plenty of choice, but fish and sea food are their forte.
Everything that we ate was piping hot, plentiful, and served promptly.
The portions are a good size.
Their is a decent selection of wine and gins, as well as a well-stocked bar.
They have a 'proper' coffee machine too.
I very highly recommend The Wood Lark.

Our favourite pub. The food is stunning, the freshest fish, the best steak, proper home cooked chips and lots of fresh vegetables. The hard working staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Stopped off for a pint and some food after a walk, I’d just missed the dinner service but when I mentioned I was just after some chips, despite them clearly being busy, they told me they could do that for me. Really friendly staff and some of the best chips I’ve ever had. Would definitely be back for more food in the future, will be booking ahead too.

I’m a bit late posting but wanted to share a lovely dining experience at this super little, friendly pub restaurant.
The food was amazing and well presented. It had a lovely Christmas feel.

If you like your fish, then this is Plaice.
A lovely little pub in Lambley.
Serving up freshly cooked seafood as well as some pub grub favourites.

But we're only here for the fish.
One look at the specials board and the choice is difficult as we could have had all of it.

The food is amazing and exceptional value for this standard of cooking.
It's as good, if not better, than what comes out of any high-end kitchen in Cornwall.

For fresh fish dshes at reasonable prices, there's no need to go to a fancy restaurant
or high-end gastropub.

A new favourite place to eat 🌟

Excellent quality food that's refreshingly different from the usual pub offering of large, mediocre portions. Great for seafood lovers - we had seafood Thai curry which was delicious. Great menu, really good prices, good service and a really pretty outdoor seating area with blankets, and heaters that reminded me of outdoor eating in Copenhagen.

Wow, what a place 🥰 incredible food, great service and atmosphere. We sat in the outside area which had blankets and beautiful hanging baskets. Highly recommended this if you’re a foodie 😋 delicious

Best pub we've been to for a while. The food was incredible and I honestly couldn't fault one bit of it. Everything in the starters through to the mains was cooked to perfection. Top notch service, friendly and welcoming staff. Can't wait to visit again!

Cosy little place specialising in sea food, but other dishes including vegan & vegetarian available. I had the cod fillet with new potatoes & greens, my spouse had the Thai fish curry, while our friends chose the vegetarian fajitas. All the dishes were of good quality ingredients, cooked beautifully & very tasty 😋.

A group of us went for a lovely walk around Lambley and Lowdham then finished at Woodlark Inn. We all had a great experience, food was awesome, staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall a fantastic day out, so nice to be in a place that don't rush you to get out. Would definitely recommend and return again soon.

Fantastic little pub. Traditional pub serving a good choice of real ales pulled properly. The food is amazing, particularly the seafood. Definitely be back.

First time in the Woodlark Inn and certainly not the last! Very cosy and charming, great ambience, and friendly staff that made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
The food is remarkably good! Delicious dishes with a lot of fish options, beautiful presentation and terrific desserts that won't make you regret it if you're on a diet! 10/10!

Visited the woodlark for lunch last Friday it was gorgeous and yummy seafood cooked to perfection. The service was quick and we felt really safe (COVID wise). Really reasonable price too for what we both had.

Great looking local pub with a good selection of ales. Very nice outdoor seating area.
Parking is a bit tight.

Brilliant country pub fir a outsider to go in and to be made feel welcome by everyone is brilliant and they have the best selection of dogs you will ever see to name a couple our Billy and Charlie and not forgetting the big golden retriever
