GO Outdoors

This Go outdoors is just of a main road into Nottingham, if has a large carpark which is handy for large vehicles.
The shop itself is quite large and has a wide variety of outdoor activities products ranging from clothes to equipment.
The shop is nicely set out, and it is very easy to try out the products for sale.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed my visit to this shop and could have spent a long time and money in there if I had the spare time and money, if you are an outdoors type of person, this shop is well worth a visit.

Had to exchange an item, the staff were extremely helpful, recommended.

Sale on £90 walking boots, down to £42, loads of good prices with your discount card and 10% more if you are in the CAMC or CACC

Buying a larger, 4 x day hiking rucksack. Jez was very helpful and technically savvy. He was respectful when fitting my 'ladies' rucksack. Match price gave me £50 off too! Very happy 😊

Went today to pick online order which was faulty. Because i needed tomorrow for sons birthday party store manager sorted another table and gave me discount . All of staff including store manager were amazing and super polite , its been a while i came across where i want to give 10 star and only able to give 5 max. Brought Horrizon Nightfall 700 from Go outdoors Daybrook Nottingham. Had 3 weeks before put it up just to find front section didn't inflate and to my dread there was no spare airtube or puncture kit to repair, I didn't want to bring tent back and after reading all the horror stories hearing about the customer service and people saying cannot get replacement air tubes, I braced myself for the dreaded phone call they put me through to the manager Kyme he listened to how upset I was and my concerns and didn't interrupt me once he said leave it with him and gave my number and he promised me he do his level best to sort things out and within 1 day and half I had a phone call from Helena who works there to come collect the replacement which Kyme had sorted out and they couldn't apologise enough. Kyme the manager said if I have any other problems to get in touch and he do the level best to sort things out.
So to all those horror stories on the Internet I don't understand as I was helped first class support.
Kyme confirmed that we can get spares for this tent.
Thank you Kyme for everything and going above and beyond I can now confirm we can go Outdoors and shop with trust.

Love going late on so I can scoot around quickly knowing exactly what I came for.
Even so inevitably distracted by half price bargains I didn't expect, I left a happy chappy.

Even more so when the happy staff processed there very last customer.

Went today to research and buy suitable clothing for an upcoming trip to Norway . Courtney (member of the staff team) helped us understand what we needed and explained the difference between materials very well. Courtney was a superstar today, super helpful, incredible knowledgeable and had the time for us and our many questions. Thank you so much 👍

Can not praise the young man at nottingham branch,(sorry I did not get name), who assisted me when I went in to buy walking boots. He told me he was a cycle technician and normally did not work on this department but he was courteous, knowledgeable and helped me find a fantastic bargain. Good store great selections.

My son needed to buy stuff for DoE and we managed to get everything at one place. Price is quite reasonable. Mark was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to guide us really well and we would not have managed without his help. Highly recommended

I LOVE this store. Huge. Amazing collection of coats for women, men and children. Some fashionable not just standard walking coats. from thin rain coats to down feather thick winter coats. Loads of clothes, Wellies, walking boots, hiking gear, camping gear, accessories. So much to look at. Social distancing in place and guards at the tills. Overheard staff helping customers find and choose things. I bought a £5 discount membership and saves £88 off my shop for coat and wellies. No brainer!

We visited the Nottingham Daybrook store today to check out the sleeping bags for an upcoming camping trip, all of the bags we out and on display which made it so much easier to choose. The staff were brilliant, helpful and polite.

My wife bought new walking boots. Staff were very helpful. Excellent service. Visited again 30th may - this time bought map, map carry case & the good lady wife bought a new fleece. Back again dec 2022. Bought head torch & a new waterproof coat.

Visited the Nottingham store in Woodthorpe today to buy a pair of walking shoes. Had great customer service from Curtis who was very helpful in advising what might suitable for me. He took his time and did not rush at all which is what you expect these days from large stores.

My friend, & l bought our tent from the Nottingham branch , We were met at the door by Steve the manager who helped us find the correct tent for our needs assisted by Courtney & Sara, all very experienced in the product knowledge.
