I always use this store to send and collect parcels. They have always been really efficient and helpful. I don’t understand the review about them not being nice to women , that’s so unfair and untrue.
I took in a parcel today and the man who served me was great. He served 2 of us at once so I we didn’t have to wait around. His children were helping him out with parcels while they were off school and were so lovely and well mannered.
The shop is spotlessly clean and well stocked. Local shops will always be more expensive as they don’t have the huge buying power of supermarkets. The little Sainsbury's down the road is extremely expensive.
This store offers western union as well as a range of parcel services so it’s vital to the area. Well done Londis !

This my children’s favourite shop in the area. I find it very helpful and the staff are very friendly to customers.

Avoid.

Bread etc is almost always out of date (if not very short date)

Constantly putting prices up.... considerably higher then most shops.
Also took advantage during lockdown 6 eggs were priced at £4 and toilet roll was £10 at one point. Also sell multi pack cans (not to be sold separately!!) At 95p per can!Just generally don't care for customers at all.

*edit.. I work at Bookers cash and carry who also supply this shop! We did NOT put out prices up whatsoever.

Rude, misogynistic, intimidating staff. Avoid especially if female.

Continously increasing prices, most expensive corner shop i have ever come across.
