Sainsbury's Talbot Green

This Sainsbury's store only opened a few weeks ago so it's still very fresh and new. The store is very large and offers the usually groceries and household items as well as a large Tu clothing section, Habitat furnishings, an Argos collection point and travel money bureau (next to customer services). There is also a Starbucks coffee shop (accessible from inside Sainsbury's and via its own entrance from the car park) and a small Timpson shoe repair/key cutting shop outside.

The shop is very spacious and there are plenty of signs to help you find your way around, as well as a couple of interactive screens you can use to search for a particular item and it'll tell you which aisle to look in. Unfortunately, the trolleys don't accept round trolley coins and only accept the 'new' £1 coin shape. The staff here seem very helpful and friendly though so I'm sure they would be able to lend you one from customer services if needed.

There are large self-service tills at the front of the shop which are very easy to use, as well as several staffed tills too.

Being a Sainsbury's, prices are a little more expensive than the nearby Tesco but they do have some good offers (especially if you have a Nectar card) so could potentially work out around the same, depending on what you buy.

There is a large car park here with plenty of spaces which seem a little larger than most parking spaces. There are plenty of "parent and child" and disabled parking spaces near the shop entrance. The car park is also home to the Sainsbury's collection point for "click and collect" orders, some electric car charging points and an ATM.

There is also a petrol station here and a jet-wash car wash (although this seems to be closed at the moment).

Excellent supermarket. Has everything from food,clothing,makeup,drinks,kitchen ware,the list is endless. Mobility scooters and carts including wheel chairs for disabled people. There is a coin master machine for exchanging small change and a money bureau. The parking area is massive ample spaces for disabled parking and family spaces.The layout is best I have ever seen in any supermarket I have visited with plenty of space between each parking spot. Also has a petrol station with very competitive prices.

Brand new … spacious shopping experience. Lovely and clean with loads of choices. Staff polite and ready to help.
Petrol pumps station design is something else. Not a design really but a functional filling station.

Since the new Sainsbury’s opened in talbot green, shopping has become an enjoyable experience for me. Every single member of staff I have interacted with has been welcoming, kind and helpful, always with a friendly little chat. In particular, I was assisted by Mahir today, a thoroughly efficient and helpful young man who made my checkout experience very enjoyable, which is unusual for me as I tend to get flustered. Mahir made me feel like a valued customer, and even thanked me for choosing to shop at the store.The range and quality of food is great, and I saved so much today with nectar prices. A great selection of books and stationery as well, which is well placed at the back next to clothes and toys which means you can browse for ages undisturbed. You don’t need to run around the store looking for a member of staff if you need help, which has often been my experience at other supermarkets. Thank you Sainsbury’s for making my shopping trips so pleasant. The only downside I would say is that I am now there so often I’m spending too much money!

Visited new store today, staff are exceptionally helpful, happy with well stocked isles and all products front faced,, looked like a picture. A very enjoyable shopping experience. Petrol station is easy to use and is card only and self service with staff on hand if assistance needed. Will be back with my nectar card to utilise the discounts it gives you. Clothes are reasonably priced and good selection. Starbucks is open and can be accessed by front or through the store.

An excellent newly opened store near Talbot Green. It's spacious, well-stocked, appealing with extensive parking, generous parking spaces with a large clothing section. Easily accessible from the local road system.

Great new superstore. The only downside is there's no cafe, but it does have a Starbucks instead. Petrol station is very fancy too.

We had put off going on a Saturday as we thought it would be too busy, but going today (Sat 6th April) everything was so calm, relaxed and chilled, it was really good. No stress, parking good, lots to see and everything to hand

Great store. There seems to be a lot more products there than the Pontypridd store. Starbucks attached to it and petrol is currently the cheapest around locally. Worth a visit.

Very spacious place. Welcoming staff, argos part was very well presented. Car space great. Will definitely be visiting again and recommend to family and friends.

New store only been open for two months. As you would expect from a new store,very clean and well stocked. Staff are very helpful and polite.

Didn't think I'd use this Sainsbury's with Aldi being so close but honestly, the quality has surprised me, it has been excellent.

First time for me to go into Sainsbury's Llantrisant. I had to go to Argos in store. The shop was very clean and very tidy. Would go to shop there for weekly next time.

Great range of products, easy to find your items, even the car park is good size and wide parking spaces plus good food for all of us
