Poundland

A large Poundland store located in the old Peacocks. The new shop is much larger than the old location and offers more items. The aisles are also slightly larger.

The shop sells a wide variety of every day essentials at reasonable prices, including toiletries, household cleaning products and food (including a selection of fresh food). They also have a few aisles of Pep & Co clothing at the back of the shop.

The shop shares a large car park with the rest of the retail park which offers free parking and convenient access to the shop. There are also some disabled parking spaces near the shop entrance.

The only staff member we interacted with during our visit was the lady at the till. She was very friendly and helpful.

Lots of bargains to be had, wish they were more comparable with other stores for toilet rolls and shampoo. The deal offered is the same as most supermarkets

Poundland is..... Poundland! Good store with good choice of items. Quite a few tills open so not a long wait to pay.

Verily, let me recount my venture into Poundland, where visions of varied valuables vexed my vigilant vigil. With valor, I ventured, envisioning vast vaults of values, but what met my view was a veritable vortex of vials and vases, vying for validation.

Vividly, the vista revealed veils of vagaries – vases, vixens, and vestiges of vanities. A veritable voyage into vexing vagrancy, where the veneer of value veiled vexation. A vendetta against convention, or perhaps a venture into verisimilitude that vacillates, voicing varied versions of veracity?

But let not my vocalization veer toward vindictiveness! Verily, I venerate the volition behind Poundland's voyage. To vie for variety, to venture into vast vistas of veritable verve – a venture, not devoid of virtue.

Verdict, then? Vouchsafe a victory for Poundland, as I vouchsafe five valiant stars to this vault of variance. For though vexed, my visit was a voyage of verve, and to that, I say: Viva, Poundland! 🌟🛍

Since poundland moved to a larger premises taking over from peacock. It has vastly improved. Not only is there a better selection of the usual products i buy. But now it has pep and Co clothing. I bought five pairs of navy socks for two pound size 9-11 and they are very well made. With the rising cost of living this is a must visit. :).

Lovely store and really supportive staff. Always willing to help you regardless. Best customer service received in a long time. Keep up the good work guys :)

Five ⭐ For Gareth who served us yesterday 9-1-2021. It’s the first time I’ve been in there and served by someone so happy, chatty and funny. Fantastic customer service, well done Gareth, a credit to your store 👏👏 Hope your colleagues take note! Overall, the store follows government guidelines with plenty of sanitizer for hands and baskets and social distancing.

Always excellent prices and value for money, I only wish they'd sell some of the things Poundworld used to stock. Pet food is about half the price that Tesco charge for the same product while Pets at Home are about 40% more expensive. Getting more expensive now sadly, prices seem to be going up every couple of weeks.

The new store has more space & the displays are now much better set out. Bigger & better.

As usual, the staff at Poundland at Llantrisant are courteous and extremely helpful. The display of the products are well presented and great value. Other retail stores could learn from the professional way the staff deal with customers.

Always good stuff, always same good price. Their garden stuff like seeds & plants are a really good bargain; they often grow better than the ones you pay through the nose for at the garden centre.
