Brilliant store, will definitely recommend to my friends and family

Yay! Very glad to see this store open again. We missed you Sainsbury's!

I went to the store and was having a problem deciding what would be a good wine to choose for a gift. The manager Oz was more than willing to help me with a recommendation and was polite and went above and beyond my expectations. Its rare to find employees that seem to care about their customers anymore and i'll definitely be returning. Oz and his team are a credit to the Sainsburys name!

Unusually large for the area and a very Impressive store located opposite moorfieds eye hospital, much larger and better stocked than it's sibling store the other side of the old street roundabout, but it is probably well less visited than the smaller store because this is the Sargasso Sea of old street, an area of dead calm, the store is no short of being a scaled down version of the larger shops, always well stocked even through the shortages of past two years, the value is as you know and expect from Sainsbury's as is the comprehensive range of foods, this was one of those shops where there was a gate at the entrance and if you couldn't find what you want you had to pass sheepishly through the checkout area to leave, past the security guard who should be placed at the entrance not at the exit where you are already well observed, they have thankfully removed the gate and it is easy to hop into and do a shop, in short a great local supermarket and well worth visiting if you are in the old street area.

Plastic bag usage down. 👍🏻

Good place to shop for essentials but rating this one star as they are they are still using thin plastic bags. Waitrose started thin compostable bags a while back for vegetable area. Pls also start keeping paper bags for croissants as other supermarkets are doing.
I will change my rating when I do see these changes. Until then I am using Waitrose.

This is one of the best Sainsbury's locals I ever been to have a pizza counter! a pizza counter! The selection of food is really good . It is probably the one of the best in its class good job Sainsbury's

Very nice shop, the personal is very pleasing, professional and great, specially Patrycia. Always availabe to help you and orientate you in the right direction. Definitely recommend this Sainsbury

A lot of stuff cool bere juice beef. Something for clean the house good food tipical english pasta and more....nice Place personal very nice
