Love the selection of vinyls, books and games!

And if you are looking to get yourself a turntable, they have a very good selection and wide range of vinyl players from below £70 to above £200!

Very happy to see HMV occupy this unit again! Conveniently located next to bond street station, this store has a decent layout and a good stock of in demand products. Staff are super nice and welcoming. Would be good to see a larger selection of vinyls.

I have always wanted to visit the hmv store since they reopened it last year, and today I finally went. It was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad and happy that they have reopened the hmv store. I bought a Blu-ray movie disc from there today. The staff are really friendly and amazing and also helpful. I definitely will go back there again and hopefully I will again soon.

The company I work for (The London Display Company) had the pleasure of installing some permanent plinths here for the reopening of HMV. Our display sits proudly on the ground floor and shows a selection of Crosley record players and sound systems. So great to see HMV open again!

A few months ago as I was planning my first, long delayed trip to London, I googled “Best record stores in London”, hoping to find some cool indie shops (and I did) but my jaw nearly dropped to the floor when I read that HMV had reopened this store. As a lifelong New Yorker and music collector I had extremely fond memories of the gigantic HMV stores here back in the peak days of the cd era. Times have changed, vinyl has retaken the lead, and most stores that sell music now also sell collectibles, clothing, audio equipment, etc. That being said, the one floor in this store that does sell physical music is well-stocked, organized and full of goodies at reasonable prices, particularly for cd’s. I went in to browse and pick up one or two things but left with a bag full of great cd’s. The young man at the register was super friendly and easy to talk with, and I had a very memorable experience. It this HMV like one you’d have visited 25 years ago? No. But for 2024 it’s the best thing out there. May they thrive and prosper!

The right place for fans of music, films, series and anime. I just missed DVD/Blu-ray concerts.

First place I've ever been where I could buy something of my favorite show. Very nice employees, and the store has a nice vibe to it as well lucky me, considering I got the same region code as England for my DVDs

The best shop for buying DVDs , Bluray/4K discs, Music in London. The staff is very kind and helps finding everything one is looking for, even when the search is very timeconsuming for them.

Large selection of vinyl and CDs. Love that! Unfortunately the band t-shirts seem a little too expensive to me (costed me around £30).

I went in earlier today expecting to pick up only one CD or none at all, so I walked in, the directional sign was very helpful and it was easy to locate what I was looking for with only a quick look, I immediately fount the music I was looking for, they were very well priced (Lamb of god/Ashes of the wake/£3.99 and avenged sevenfold/nightmare/£7.99) Paulina, the cashier was very kind. Thank you Paunlina.

very polite people... it's always nice to enter this shop, polite, smiling stuff... and they always change the visual layout of the products every day, I love how this shop is organised, they should reserve a place for some bands and have them play from alive.. wonderful place

I visited London oxford street yesterday and I had a look at hmv because it was big and I had never been in there before but all the other hmvs I have been in! They got a games corner upstairs, they have got a lot of merch, they have masses of nightmare before Christmas stuff which I was really happy about as I am a nightmare before Christmas fanatic.

I did not buy anything, but if I wanted to I probably would! It was amazing and big! It was a fun experience.

I didn't know it had opened back up, asked staff when it opened, said 3 months ago. It's the only audio, video shop left even though they don't have video cassettes, changed to dvd's. I remember back in the 80's, had Our Price, Virgin Megastore and HMV. I have so many records, cassettes, cd'sand video's. Wow how the record prices have increased from £1.99, £2.99, £3.99, £4.99, £5.99 to £25+, £35+, £45+, £55+ and even more expensive. I only bought 12" singles extended or remixed back in the day because I love dancing and that extra time meant you could dance longer and enjoy the beat. Most of the records are albums, it was hard to find singles, no seperate section, all the genres and artists are segregated, have to go through each section looking for singles. Just knowing HMV is open gives me hope and nostalgia. I will come back to by more singles but at crazy prices, will see where my destiny takes me.

Great to see this store back on the High Street it was sadly missed. A bit further along than its original location (go past Oxford Circus and keep going) but well worth the extra effort. For lovers of Vinyl theres a high section downstairs with merch and others on the ground floor. Check it out!
