Toolstation Croydon Broad Green

ToolStation Croydon is a handy place where you can shop for DIY or trade items for builders or plumbers or general repairs. They have really good stock of mostly used items in building and repair. As name suggests they also stock power tools. They have catalogue from which you can choose item or product numbers. I normally use there website before I make a visit, so it is always a quick visit here. The staff are very helpful.

I went to Tool Station today and was served by Alex D. I was looking for two particular items across London and Alex went above and beyond to help me find them.

Staff were excellent and so helpful today when I was getting an L-shaped bracket to put my shelves up. They knew exactly what type I needed with the screws I already had. The service was very quick and they went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you very much. We are now admiring our new shelf full of cook books thanks to the staff.

Today I was looking for a tap connection, I did not realize this store was only open to deal with online orders. I spoke to the person who was at the door and he was very willing. He assisted me by checking the part was in stock and accepting the wrong part I purchased at the store in Five Ways. The outcome was I got the correct part which fitted the tap for my hose pipe. So grateful to the very helpful staff at this store. Very Good service

I purchased my products online for click and collect. Once I arrived there was a long queue because of the covid situation but the was a click and collect queue which was super fast. I had my products in 2 minutes and off I went. Very good and convenient set up. I prefer it like this even though it's an inconvenience at other stores.

I went into Broad Green branch today and was served by Lawrence. Lawrence is a new starter and the Manager explained he was new and let him serve me.
Lawrence was obviously concentrating on getting the process right and served me swiftly and calmly.
Great service guys and nice to see new starters being given the support they need.
Liked the fact you explained that to me and I wish Lawrence well in his. New job.

I had such an amazing a lovely experience at Toolstation today. I had a difficult task of returning some items to repurchase them again ( long story). The lady who was servicing me today called Kim, went above and beyond the call of duty, instead of “passing the buck” she diligently used her initiative to fix the problem! She is without a doubt a Credit to the work place. Thanks so much Kim you were amazing!

Massively helpful as they put aside a vital piece of kit needed with no payment taken in advance.

The poor server then looked up other items for me too.

Mike was really helpful today. The customer service is excellent and his speed of getting you your items is even commendable. A list of more than 15 products in about 4.2 minutes. 👏🏼

Bought some CAT5 Cable and a few other bits from here, I arrived at the store 10 minutes after placing my order,

And my order was ready upon my arrival.

Unlike the long line for the Screwfix opposite, I was Greeted and served by a member of staff instantly.

When you come across very knowledgeable friendly staff you always want to go back for all DIY needs!

If you are lucky enough to have RYAN serve you, you are in safe hands! Nothing is too much and he really knows his stuff!!!!

Ordered click and collect late on Saturday evening and message recieved 1st thing on Sunday morning to collect. Went to collect and was waiting ready to collect and they quys were great and very quick at getting the que moving. Definitely my go to store ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

During covid lockdown Toolstation is one of the few retailers that doesn't have a queue system to access the website.
I placed an order at 15.00 , got a text at 15.30 to tell me the order was ready.
Picked it up at 16.00 straight away while the queue at the opposite Screwfix was 100 m long.
Well done Toolstation.
