Sainsbury's Local

I had a magnificent time three pictures of Sainsbury's Local- Hackbridge Station Local especially when I was taking two selfies yesterday from 3:24-3:25pm.

Good for quick shopping, very polite staff

Being a regular customer have seen a lot of scenes in the store. On Sunday witnessed a very crazy situation where a customer tried to attack one of the security guys, and another security acted on point, was very impressed with the way he handled the situation, brought the man out of store, had a chat him with very respectfully and settling the things down. I was impressed by the professionalism he showed. well done young man, we need more security people like you around.

The Sainsbury's on London Road opposite the West Croydon railway station is a historical site. Although the site was a busy pub (The Ship of fools) for a period of time not long ago, this site was one of Britain's earliest self-service supermarkets. Sainsbury's held the lease and decided not to renew JD Wetherspoons hold on the prime estate.

Sainsbury's was founded in 1869 by John James Sainsbury with a store in Drury Lane in the City. His first store outside Central London in 1882 was close to the West Croydon station.

Customer service fine on most occasions.

Security....RUDE....talking quite rudely under breath (not quiet enough) when I walked past.
Wanted to speak to a manager about this but there wasnt one available in the 10m spent in store.

Very conveniently located just opposite the train station. But the thing is as i regularly shop from Sainsburys I found it too expensive like food and groceries are much costlier than other Sainsburys.

Poor selection, feels dark and unwelcoming

We forgot our cellphone in the Sainsburry’s Local and called to ask whether they found it, which they diclined. We went there. Turns out the cashier „found“ our phone and lied about it being in the shop eventhough we heard it ringing. He tried blaming us about not being careful enough and called us a b****. Cashier man S. told us he looked behind the register, but refused to give us the phone once ist rang. Sh!t-Show. DON‘T BOTHER GOING THERE!!!

Disgusting, ordered via Uber eats mouldy vegetables were sent that were covered in fruit flies, completely unacceptable. Make sure you check the food thoroughly if you use this store

Most unhelp shop I've been in as a disabled person could get no help with anyone to watch my shopping so I could get a few bits u need sales assistant said security.security said no so I had to leave embarrassed with out my shopping bad customer service if you have Hiden disabilities or old don't go their as unhelpful can't and won't use that store again 😠
