Tesco Express

Friendly people that work there, especially a staff member i think called harry always helpful and polite. Sometimes it can feel erratic with long queues but it soon gets moving.
For a small tescos it stocks alot, ... fresh veg& fruits meats , hams ,hummus , halal pattys, spring rolls samosa, alcohol, juices batteries cleaning materials etc.so good for sma or larger shops.

Great local Tesco close to Angel station. Plenty of products available for a smaller store, with self checkout to avoid queues and an ATM outside if you need cash.
There is always items on sale on a cabinet next to the cheeses, with very generous discounts at that.
Staff seem happy and are very responsive if you need help. Self checkout usually needs the most attention since the machines can have errors often, though as mentioned before the staff assigned there have a keen eye and will jump to help you out.

Overall I have no problems with the store, and would definitely recommend it if you need to do some quick shopping, grab a snack, or even your large household shopping.

Excellent location on Essex Road at Islington Green. Seems like a decent size Metro as I can get all I want from a quick Tesco visit. Staff are always helpful and the store is well stocked. The Jasmine Green Tea in my photo is very disappointing and not recommended, but that's not a reflection on Tesco overall!

Great Tesco Metro branch! However, I have been inside bigger Tesco Metro branches and the nearby Sainsburys Superstore on Liverpool Road (Chapel Market side) has a much better selection. This Tesco Metro branch is more convenience focused due to the nearby offices and nearby City and Islington Sixth Form College. Conviniently located just off Islington High Street and a couple of minutes from Angel Station. There is a wide selection of crisps, chocolates and other snacks. The Meal Deal selection was good and I strongly recommend the Roast Vegetable and Chestnut wrap it is absolutely delicious and trust me tastes way better than the name. The selection could be improved with this Tesco branch stocking the Halal chicken and meat sandwiches by the Express Cuisine company which other Tesco branches stock but this one doesn't. There is a good hot food range but it lacks food to go options as there was only cooked chicken in the hot food counter. It could do with some more vegan and vegetarian options as there is a lack of hot food here. There is a Co op only a 5-7 minute walk away towards Essex Road and the hot food range is far better. The customer service here is absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of self checkouts to deal with the long queues and recently some new self checkouts were installed. Social distancing measures are strictly in place too. The Tesco Clubcard Prices are brilliant too. For example, the bakery pastries are normally £1.26 but down to £1 if you have a Clubcard. That might sound small but when nearby Sainsburys do the same pastries for £1.30 the saving feels great. Overall, I strongly recommend this Tesco branch to you!

My parents had a wedding anniversary and I was so busy I left shopping for the last minute. When I entered Tesco, I realised they had so many products that I won't leave empty-handed. I chose a bottle of Taylor's 20 year old Tawny port because my parents are so crazy about Port.
Later we enjoyed it very much, it was a wonderful evening and I'll be definitely going to Tesco again.

Doesn't have anywhere for disable car but is on one level so easy access for wheelchairs and has sufficient goods

Love this local supermarket they always got what we need large selection of drinks fresh vegetables. & now they even got a everything for a £1 items in the corner of the supermarket. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

If you see a white boy named Jamie who looks homeless, he always steal one thing and somehow gets away with it.

A very big selection and not too crowded, I like it.
