Jones of Brockley

A delightful shop offering a variety of locally-sourced food and drink items. Many prepared items (i.e. cheeses, pastries, jams) are sourced from local suppliers that use high-quality, small batch, and often regional ingredients. Staff are very knowledgeable about their stock and always friendly toward customers.

Items available include: pastries, meat, cheeses, coffee, chocolate, jam, crackers, fresh fruits and vegetables, wine, beer, and freshly cut flowers.

Really good local deli for some fancier foodstuffs and booze. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which is always a bonus. The fresh food and veg etc vary regularly which keeps things interesting. Definitely a good resource we appreciate having locally. Not necessarily the cheapest but the brands and quality are higher end.

A keystone of Crofton Park’s burgeoning good food and drink scene. Everything stocked is very deliberately curated and the owner can give you all the background on products. Good beer and wine and cheese as a starting point, but also perfect to add a bit of a juszchy ingredient to your home good meal.

Excellent produce and an impressive range for a smaller store! Their baked goods in particular are delicious.

The staff are well informed. This small deli stocks high quality products ranging from fine wines, tasty cheeses, artisan store cupboard goods and a small selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Pop in when you get a chance. You won't be dissapointed 😊

Perfect for when you are in a bourgeoisie frame of mind. Less so when you take on the worries of the proletariat. Wonderful range of products, curated with unquestionable skill. Michael is a fine gent and a scholar. Sets standards very high for local competitors.

Fantastic, really high quality produce, including fresh bread, organic milk, a cracking selection of cheese, and fruit and veg. Lovely owner, who’s friendly and very knowledgable - his wine recommendations are always excellent!

"My supplier is...very good," the owner of this store said when we asked about some particularly rare produce sold in this gorgeous shop.
He is absolutely correct. I have seen many deli-style shops of this ilk, but never one offering such consistency of quality goods. Everything on offer looks and tastes divine, as though beamed in from an another planet where poor packaging and dodgy veg have been outlawed.
Better stock and friendlier service than Harrods.

Fancy as pants can be. A lovely range of deli deliciousness. Let's be honest, it is very expensive. But sometime the price is part of the therapy. You certainly don't go there because it is cheap.

Beautifully laid out, great produce and charming staff. During Covid expect a queue, but with Fred's coffee shop a few doors up, at least you can wait with a hot chocolate.

This is a beautiful shop full of delicious produce from high quality suppliers. There's Monmouth coffee, Brindisa meats, Neal's Yard Dairy cheeses, craft beer and lots more. I highly recommend a visit.

It's immensely pleasing to know Jones is there. There isn't a decent supermarket in the area so even though I can't always afford to spend the extra on top quality ingredients, it's great to know they are there.

I go for the San Marzano tomatoes, great flour and to look longingly at the expensive Monmouth coffee.

Amazing cheese. This man knows his stuff. Wine, cheese, beer and a host of beautiful food.

Great little deli serving up lots of delicious treats: craft beer, blood oranges, local juices, sour dough bread for example. Always end up buying a few more things than I meant to!

Awesome selection of high quality produce. It’s not cheap but it costs what it should do for the quality of the products. The guys working there are lovely too.

Great wine and beer selection and friendly staff. I spend far too much money in here but everything is best of quality - it maybe expensive but it is worth it!
