I can see that the customer service is doing what they can and work hard. It is not easy to shout every few seconds - 'card payment!', 'next please'... not envy, so thanks to customer service who still have their heart and patience! :) bless!

Affordable choice of good products. Some customers leave items open and in a mess. But it's a good shop with more than initial expectations on offer. Very helpful staff too.

Lots of items for £1. Other things are a tad more, but still extremely low. They have housewares, food, pet supplies, shoes, clothing. Checkout has both self checkout or a cashier for those who don't like the machines. Big store. Impressed.

I love how the hundred pence shop has ignored the 7% inflation and put their prices up by 50% or/and 100%. Empowering the masses...

You gotta love Poundland. Always full of surprises and items that would normally cost much more from other stores (e.g. pens/notepads, or DIY hardware bits).

Slightly under lit but in general, the store has a good variety of products and I'm always happy to pop in when in need of some small bits for the office or the kids.

Very easy to get carried away :) but be careful as not everything is £1 any more.

Social distancing can be an issue but you can't blame staff if some people don't want to comply. Definitely wear a mask &/or shield for your own protection.

Poundland is very good you get anything you want to help you along with DIY. If you want other materials that you can not find there you know where to go.
Surprisingly they sell clothes 2 Isles of womens and 2 Isles of men same for children section as well. Just need to make the women's clothes a bit bigger in the plus sizes.
You can even buy chilled food products, just need a few freezers for the frozen food and they would do very in selling all items.
As you would of worked out its not just a £1 its over on some items, but still good.

It was quick and smooth just like you would like it to be. Grabbed my superglue, toohpaste and a coffe too! Did that in less than five...just before this review arrived :D

Went into the Streatham Store today looking for the Willow Roll Edging but they had sold out. I could kick myself I should have bought more a couple of weeks ago. Lol The store had posters and information on social distancing. I tried to keep to it but found it hard as other shoppers I'm afraid couldn't care less. The staff were helpful and I did manage to buy other items that I wanted. I would definitely recommend going to this store, clean and well stocked.
