WHSmith

Visited this branch of WH Smith which is located at Waterloo station. Came here on a Friday morning. Had a nice selection of books and magazines that you would expect from most WH Smith stores. Also had some gift cards which you can purchase and some cards for birthdays and events which again is usual for most WH Smith. Had a wide range of refreshments and drinks you can even buy a beer here not that you would want to at 10am but it was on offer. Had some snacks crisps and various other items you could buy. The self checkout was very easy and simple. The staff inside where helpful and friendly and the store was clean. Highly recommended if your in Waterloo and need to buy a drink or pick up some stationary.

. BEST STORE IN THE WORLD!!!!!! Great staffs very professional, very affordable too. Will really recommend.

Good store to buy stationary and other products from magazines, newspapers, sweets and tobacco, staff are ok, there are not enough tills and too may self service check outs

I do enjoy visiting this store but there is just so much stuff. You cannot cram everything in - please be mindful of space

Stuff you would expect but very overpriced. We looked to buy 1 bag of haribo tangfastics and it cost £3!

Seems to have a supply of things you’d expect... books, magazines,snacks, card, meal deals, stationery....

A collection of overpriced goods that are not even worth it. Most members of staff are rude and abrupt even when customers try to be polite. Do not waste your time in this so-called place of business. There are so many people out of work who would love to have a job. Why not find people who are willing to work hard and are good with customers?

From the comments below, it is obvious that the goods are overpriced and the members of staff are ineffective. If management actually cared about the success of the business, it would make robust efforts to change the negative image of the shop. It is not just a case of WHSmith receiving one or two negative comments. It seems to be a consistent thing. Either make an effort to improve matters or shut the thing down and put in another business which actually cares what customers think and which does not have overpriced goods. There are plently of people who are out of work who would love to have a job - hire them instead of the miserable grouches who work there.

Staff members rarely make the effort and when they do, people are just directed to the nearest self-service till. Waste of time and money. Avoid.

*I attended one of the WH Smiths at Waterloo Station today. I do not attend often because of my past experiences. Service was excellent and I was served by a lovely young man with brown hair and a beard and a nice smile. He was really nice and I am now giving this place three stars as opposed to one. *

Handy store to have in a station. Has a bit of everything, from snacks to books.
