Morrisons

Newly opened Morrisons supermarket (moved from opposite side of the street to brand new development Brentford Project).
It has Market Kitchen (cafe and refreshments with a seating area), a pharmacy, butcher, bakery, pizzas, salads & meal deal stands, customers’ toilets, etc.
All the products and services are well presented.
Big self scan check out area for trolley and basket.
Lower basement 24/7 car park is very convenient. Morrison’s customer with 5 pound spending has 90 minutes free parking (need a barcode from the till). Good lifts service access to car park.

Great local store!

Very handy for popping in to grab essentials. It's a medium size shop with a large selection. The lay out is a bit weird but that just be me. It is disappointing to see minimal staffed tills but checking out was quick. There's a cafe there which has ordering screens

Morrisons has moved from the site it's held for years to here and it's a slight improvement on the previous one.
It's a similar size, perhaps slightly smaller, with narrower aisles, but has a decent selection of items. It still has a pharmacy and now has a cafe.
The only downside is the placement/layout of the store. It's quite obvious that they've laid it out so you have to search for what you need/walk across the entire store for basic items, like milk, which is in the furthest corner from the main entrance which i find quite disappointing, hence the 4 stars.

This evening I went to the Brentford branch, where I go shopping every evening, for shopping. I had an open face helmet on my head and he ordered me to take off my safety helmet. The security who were supposed to speak politely to customers was aggressive. When I asked his name to address him, he said "anyone". His approach to the customer and the way he talked were not pleasant. If I had been wearing quality clothes instead of motorcycle clothes, he wouldn't have dared to treat me this way. He was a security guard I had never seen before. I went shopping every evening with my open-faced helmet on, no security guards caused any problems, and my face was open. Tesco has the same policy, but they allow us to shop with open-faced helmets. I was treated like a thief. Security did not let me in and I had to do my shopping at Tesco. Is it more dangerous to go shopping with a mask covering your face or a helmet? When I was at your old branch, the staff was more respectful, helpful and friendly. I think you should provide training before hiring new security guards. I will never shop from this morrinsos again.
