Booked a weeks holiday there. Lovely location.
Cottage was on a working farm in a small village.
It is a lovely place to stay for a relaxed getaway.
A bonus, you get to collect your own eggs in the morning free of charge.

Great place. Lovely welcoming hosts. Fantastically well equipped property. Can't fault it!

Really enjoyed our stay in Wyandotte cottage. Really spacious, very clean with high quality furnishings. Everything you need for a break for two. Single level accommodation with wider than normal doors made this ideal for wheelchair use.
Village Farm is located close to the A1(M), making it easy to get to the Moors, the Dales and lots of other attractions.

A lovely cottage in a lovely setting. A very warm welcome and the cottage has absolutely everything you could want. We stayed in Orpington cottage... So spacious... Five bedrooms all with own bathrooms huge dining table and kitchen, hot tub.. large lounge area. Owner was very warm & welcoming and nothing was to much trouble.
Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Sebrite cottage which was fabulous. Cottage was immaculate and beds are very comfortable and everything is available to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was an added bonus and James the owner came every morning to put the cleaning chemicals in and robes and towels are available. Our grandson collected eggs every morning and also fed the rabbit. James is very helpful and is around if you need advice but he leaves you to enjoy the stay. I would recommend the cottages as James showed us around and I am just about to book again.

Lovely and quiet stay with friends. Private hot tub in the garden, friendly owners, baby cows over the garden wall, close (driving distance) to local amenities, dog friendly cottages, and the biggest bath I've ever been in. Would love to visit again.

Absolutely loved our weekend here. Our barn/cottage was perfect. Jim the owner ( such a lovely man) came to greet us and even gave us a tour of his family working farm. We will definitely return.

Great place to stay for visiting North Yorkshire moors, Yorkshire dales etc.
The cottages are fitted out to a very high specification making for a very comfortable stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

I cannot praise the owners of these cottages enough. We stayed in Maran with my sister in law and her hubby, we took our little Yorkshire terrier with us too. The property was beautifully decorated with a modern interior and spotlessly clean on our arrival, each of the bedrooms sporting hotel quality bedlinen and each has its own En-suite bathroom. The larger bedroom had a sofa bed as well as a zip link super-king sized bed the smaller room had a king sized double. The properties are situated on a working farm and we had the cow byre right next door along with a number of chickens in a nearby coop that you could get your own fresh eggs from - delicious! A large adjacent paddock enabled us to walk the dog safely off leash each morning. If you are looking for a great place to stay whilst exploring the nearby dales you couldn't picks better property, the nearest shop is approx 5 minutes drive away and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a short driving distance to keep you very well fed and watered, and to top it all of the property has a hot tub in the private courtyard garden, so relaxing after a day of walking, sight seeing or shopping - heaven, just pure heaven!

Fantastic base for exploring the beautiful area. Lots of little extras to make your stay hassle free. Hairdryer, handwash, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee etc.

We are about to make our second visit to Wyandotte. We stayed here in May and we were so comfortable and happy with the cottage we wanted to return.
My husband is in a wheelchair with limited mobility and we managed fine as there is only one small lip to the front door, everything else is on the level. A few bits of our own mobility equipment made this a perfect stay.
The owners are helpful and welcoming, the cleaners and gardener do a beautiful job of keeping the interiors and exterior immaculate. All in all a perfect cottage for two with Thirsk, Ripon, Richmond, North Allerton, Knaresborough and Harrogate all short drives away. If you are flush, treat yourself to one of Betty’s 3 tea rooms for coffee and a cake!
Looking forward to this return visit in a few days time.

The most beautiful relaxing luxurious cottage I've stayed in with the best lemon drizzle cake I've ever tasted.

Absolutely superb. Quite possibly one of the best holiday cottages in the UK (Maran).
