Premier Inn Thirsk hotel

Lovely hotel to stop at travelling down the motorway. Rooms were fresh with perfect ambient lighting for comfort.

Stopped by the restaurant for dinner and it was nice enough, staff are lovely.

Fantastic 2 night stay. Lovely hotel but I guess very new. Rooms immaculate and very clean. Staff, friendly and relaxed. Food OK and as expected but a shame nearly 50% of the main courses on the dinner menu were not available.

Very handy location, great breakfast choices, lovely staff, nice restaurant or there are plenty of takeaway options within a short distance of the hotel and an Aldi directly opposite the entrance.
Premier inn never lets me down when working away.

Went back to reception and apologise profusely and upgraded me to a premier plus room ,free ultra WiFi and cooked breakfast!
The room was very spacious and nicely decorated

Shower hot and powerful
Evening meal was good plenty of choice and good value price's
Breakfast was a all you can eat self-service buffet.
Its a new premier Inn so it smelt like new
Location on the outskirts of Thirsk 10 min walk to the town
Would definitely stay again if in the area

All else as consistent and as expected, clean, comfortable, warm, easy parking.

Really easy to get to, friendly service and the Premier Plus room was very comfortable to work in on an evening. Fridge in the room was a nice touch, as was the Nespresso coffee machine. Bed very comfortable and great shower. Provided shower gel smelt great too! Ate in the restaurant both nights of my stay and food was really tasty.

It was my first time in a Premier Inn hotel but I was blown away. Very nice rooms , clean and net and like new. Super comfortable bed. Shower is not seperate . Breakfast was very good . Staff was all very very nice . Searched for a premier hotel for the next day on our road trip already ! Good job !

Very nice Premier Inn in the lovely market town of Thirsk just few minutes away from the A1.
Ample rooms, very good parking area.

This was a nice hotel to stay in for a few days with a reasonable size carpark.We walked into Thirsk everyday which is about 20 minutes from the hotel and on one occasion caught the bus into York from Thirsk centre on a Reliance bus company service which was a good price of £8 return for two .The bus drops you off just behind York Minster which is ideal for city centre shopping.On the return journey, the bus driver dropped us quite close to the hotel which was good of him.
Going back to the hotel's facilities, only a couple of tea bags are normally left in the room but you can get more at a desk in reception. We washed some of our clothes daily as we couldn't take many travelling by motorcycle but Mel one of the staff came up to our room with an iron and ironing board which was gratefully received.The air conditioning can throw you out a bit as the minium setting is 19 c but on this setting you do get cold air blowing through the room.There are no windows to open so just have to reply solely on the air conditioning.

I’m really impressed with this premier inn. Great location, just a mile outside of Thirsk centre. It’s nice and quiet. The staff are nice and helpful. (Especially Amelia, friendly yet professional. After booking me in, she went out of her way to arrange for me to have my meal at a decent time after a 3 hour drive up to Thirsk). She’s a star.
The food in the Thyme restaurant is great. I stayed here for a week and enjoyed every meal that I had. The steak and the chicken curry especially were fantastic. The restaurant is nice and light with lots of windows. They have a beer garden outside. The rooms are great. My only criticism (constructive) was that I had to wait quite a while (up to an hour) at different points throughout the week for my evening meal. I know they were short staffed in the kitchen but they could of just warned customers that the food would take longer than usual for that reason. Much better to inform us than keeping us in the dark. Otherwise, great job. I’d definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Beautiful clean rooms. Very quiet and a good location. Aldi is near by for any snacks and drinks. Lots of parking too. The reception is really good and friendly.

Stayed here to be near my daughter who has just moved to Sowerby Had a lovely one night stay with my mam. Excellent premier inn very clean and the receptionist friendly and professional. We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked lovely.

We stayed in Christmas day visiting family, had a very pleasant Christmas card in the room with a nice pack of cookies, this was a very nice touch. Hotel very clean, friendly staff, very welcoming, would stay again. Og and a 5* breakfast..
