Lovely freshly decorated pub/restaurant. Plenty of space between tables in the restaurant area with some seating outside. Really friendly, helpful staff and lovely food. So nice to have a selection of traditional English staples with a mix of Turkish choices to tempt the taste buds.

A really nice country village pub. Beautiful inside with a lovely atmosphere. Wide selection of Turkish meals along with English pub favourites. Prices slightly higher than an average pub but this is no average pub. The food quality was very high, cooked to perfection and with attentive and helpful service. Spotlessly clean. No loud annoying music. Just a very pleasant place to be and to eat. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal there in June 2023. Very friendly staff and owner made a huge fuss over our 13 year old Cavalier King Charles. We’ll definitely revisit again as the food matched the quality of the service. All high quality.

Overall, I'd say the food was excellent. Unusual for a Turkish place to be popular for drinks and desserts, but they seem to get a lot of folk in for it.

The halloumi was supposed to come with a pomegranate dressing (and it certainly needed it), but maybe they ran out of it. The beef koftes were nice with garlic dip. Lovely chips and marinated grilled chicken. I had the sweet chicken with some lovely rice.

Their version of the apple pie wasn't really tart enough, but it is hard to get right due to personal preference. I'd say the cream would make it sweeter, so make it more tart. However, the rice was pudding was divine.

Nice clean and cosy pub with a decent portion of pub food and friendly staff. It’s a perfect choice after a long walk in the Sutton Bank National Park area.

What a gem, freshly cooked Turkish food. We shared the mezze starter and it was fantastic, full of flavour and carefully prepared. I had the greyhound chicken which was delicious. Highly recommended, great service and excellent value.

Haven't dined here so won't comment. This is a village local that is trying extra hard to go the extra mile. The beer is great but the atmosphere seems a bit sub-quorate, probably due to the odd layout of the venue ( dog bone, drinkers at the front, eating at the back). The staff are all fantastic. Please support.

Shiny Bright clean Pub and Restaurant with great food and hospitality. Dogs are welcome in the Bar (which gets busy nightime at the weekends). The food is fabulous - English or Turkish dishes but the Turkish are unique in this location. Best to eat - Mixed Turkish Starters and Baklava and Turkish Delight Ice cream (both made on site). Tipping is optional - great night out to chill and enjoy the food and experience.

Amazing food and a warm welcome from lovely attentive staff. First time here and would like to transport it almost 200 miles north.

Found this pub mainly by accident and decided to stay for lunch. The 3 of us were very pleasantly surprised at the very varied selection and went for the Turkish mixed starter and 2 fish pies. The food was superb. Best fish pies we have ever tasted and the mixed platter challenged us all to finish - but we did! The choice of beers was extensive. We settled on the Black Sheep blonde which was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Shame 2 of us are not locals but we will definitely call back again when we are in the area.

Stylish, airy restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Interesting menu, from spicy Turkish to simple sea bass. And, of course, the chef's baklava. Lovely meal.
