What an amazing farm! We have been before but this time we went for the Christmas Experience and words can not describe how much of an amazing experience it was. We went with our 10 month old for his first visit to see Santa and he was mesmerised with everything. He also loves animals and could not stop laughing at the goats and sheep. We also ate in the cafe and the food was lovely the jacket potato option was very filling with it coming with a side of crisps, coleslaw and salad.
Thank you for making our little ones first experience seeing Santa amazing and one that we will never forget! Could not recommend this place enough absolutely amazing!

Amazing little farm well I say little it’s quite big and a lovely long walk round
Plenty of animals to feed (mind the llama) he spits and some animals greedier than others. There are rides to go on (barrel and electric cars/bike) there is also an air pillow if you’re interested but we didn’t want to take shoes off. Lovely picnic area which we used and there was pig racing later in the day. We only stayed couple of hours which was enough for us (adult and teen) but we did have a few goes on the electric bikes £1 per ride. Not laughed so much in ages. We loved the whole thing and could see a huge change since going 7 yrs previous much better and they are still working on it to make it better still

Absolutely adored our visit here! Animals are really cared for! A lot bigger than I expected. I went with my husband (I'm an animal nut) If we went with kids we could have easily spent the whole day here! Beautiful grounds, staff lovely, plenty to eat on offer, lovely I've cream, plenty for kids to do and adorable animals! Will 100% be back!

Staff were lovely and keen to ensure we enjoyed our day. The animals were all very clean as were their enclosures and all seemed very happy and well cared for. Love the goat area. Plenty to see and although the rain meant we didn't make use of all the facilities there was plenty to do too. Cafe was also lovely. Would recommend

Our family of 4 had a great day even when the weather was not perfect. There is a good selection of animals and the children loved feeding the lambs and petting the guinea pigs. There was a cafe and ice cream parlour aswell as a coffee and drinks station. When we were resting there were two play areas for the children one with bouncy pillows which they loved. There were a couple of things that cost extra for the children to do but these are only a couple of pounds each extra. Overall a good day out!

Had a holiday at Yorkshire, Monk park farm was one of the last places we visited and it was amazing, my two children loved petting the animals and feeding them, walking around and see the different animals, the bouncy pillows was a massive hit with my daughter and the huge sand pit was a hit for my son, we also enjoyed the barrel ride, food in the cafe was outstanding and very good portions for the price. Will definitely be back to visit again.

What a lovely day we had despite the rain. Farmer Laura was lovely with the children in the petting barn.
Our 5 Yr old grandson had a great time.
Lovely time at the Guinea pig tables.
Hands on supervised session with chicks. Bottle feeding demonstration with the woolie wearing lambs!
Lots if goats to feed too.
Shame it was raining so much as there is lots of fun play outside.
Lovely cafe.
We will be back on a sunny day!
Lovely clean child friendly attraction.
Lots of clean handwashing sinks and soap in the petting barn.

Absolutely loved our Christmas experience. The staff have put so much effort into making the kids Christmas magical. We loved the tipi and roasting marshmallows. Santa’s grotto was beautifully done and the Alice in wonderland lights looked amazing once it got dark. Fab day out

This place has absolutely nailed it. Went with 1 yr old, 2.5yr old and 5 yr old and we found it a perfect day out for a young family. There’s so much to do. We enjoyed the petting farm, the woodland walk, the barrel ride, the pig racing! The children obviously loved the giant bouncing pillows. But overall this felt like such an organised and happy place. Found the cafe great, with a large choice of foods and a kids menu. The playgrounds were brilliant as well. We missed a bottle feeding the animals, the train ride and the foam party - so there is so much to do. It felt relaxed and ordered. Just brilliant. I hope this place is around for the long haul.

Really enjoyed our day today at Monk farm park, there was so much to do, the lady on the tractor ride was brilliant she was so lovely to the children & wore a Halloween costume whilst driving the tractor it was brill, the parks were great and included all ages which I think is really rare and all the effort that went in to the Halloween theme was outstanding. The cafe was lovely & I think the kids meals were nice on divided plates perfect for my autistic son. I would love to see a water hose and brush at the entrance just to clean pram wheels & shoes. 5* farm will be returning again for Christmas thank you 😊

We have been several times, and today we went for the Christmas experience and grotto. There was so much thought and effort that had been put in to the experience that even the adults found it magical. The food is fresh and delicious. We have never been disappointed after going, always a fantastic day for the children. The animals are beautiful and well looked after. See you all in the spring.

This was our first visit to Monk farm and it definitely won’t be our last. Driving over I was skeptical as the weather was against us but it absolutely did not dampen our day! Our 3 girls aged 5, 7 & 9 loved picking their pumpkins and then carving them which kept us out of the rain. It then dried out and we were able to have a walk round to see the animals and the girls wanted to play on the zip wire. We petted the animals, fed the goats. Fell in love with Bean! Lunch was very reasonable priced and delicious! The staff were all super friendly! We managed to spend 5 hours here on a damp day so we can’t wait to visit again in the summer! Well done Monk farm! Keep up the good work.

Although it was a rather damp day, we still managed to get around to see everything and there was plenty for the grandkids to do (age 9 & 11). There was a foam party at 3pm but I'd forgotten a change of clothes for them, DOH!

Visited for the first time and loved it. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food in the cafe was really good and not overly priced. The animal petting barn was great and my daughter loved feeding the animals. Take some wellies and possibly spare clothes as the paths were wet and very muddy due to the rain but also great fun for jumping and squelching in. All in all a fantastic 5 hours at a lovely little place

Excellent value for money. Had a great day. My tip - take spare clothes for the kids, they’ll need em after the foam party! 🤣🤣🤣

Ey up! What an amazing day we had for our little boys birthday party. We have always enjoyed the farm and booked a party for our boy and 10 friends. From booking to the end it was such a great experience. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were friendly and helpful, they all made my boy feel special on his day. Excellent value for money!! Much better than a soft play where you only get 2 hours, the whole day at the farm with friends. I cannot recommend Monk Park Farm enough!! They only down side was having to go home at the end! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
