Met up with old friends for a mid week evening meal whilst away on holiday with our dog.
Staff were wonderful , looked after us and the dog !
Food was great , never tried a "Parmo" before and it didn't disappoint.

Found this pub on Google we were staying in the area and booked at table very easy to find on the main road from walking in the staff were welcoming, we had a table in the bar area as we had our dog with us. Ordered plain old sausage and mash the best ever sooo tasty with lovely veg aswell, could of eaten it again, followed by peanut butter cheesecake, my husband had sticky toffee pudding. Wish we were here for longer, but will definitely return when we are back in March.

I want to rate the rooms four and half but couldn't & that's only because the bathroom door wasn't the easiest doors to close + the sealant around the shower screen could do with renewing but that's just being picky. Luv this place the food is amazing the staff are amazing will definitely be staying here again, keep up the good work team Oak 👏👏😍

Really great place to stay. Large car park. The accommodation is a separate building to the pub. Quiet. Breakfast huge and excellent. Would recommend.

We stopped here for dinner and drinks, the crew here couldn't have been more accommodating, a vast and varied menu with a special board too. Definitely worth a visit

Dined here while in the area for a short stay. Super friendly staff, great food. Such a welcoming atmosphere. Warm bread rolls with the starters, it received that degree of service in a long time. Pub was very clean, spacious and had a lovely outside sitting area. Definitely would return when next in the area and would consider staying.

Stayed one night on way upto Scotland. Rooms were very clean with plenty of tea, coffee and milk in room. Evening meal was delicious and staff were welcoming and very helpful. My small jack russell was also made very welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We have booked another one night stay when we return from Scotland for our onward journey back to Essex

Great pub with a large menu of excellent food, with a good selection of specials available most days. Well worth a visit, although booking is recommended as it’s usually quite busy. Always has at least two local guest beers on tap, as well as an extensive selection of other drinks to suit all tastes.

We always stay here with the dog when visiting family. Rooms are ideal for what we need with a big dog and you can't go wrong with the breakfast

We always enjoy eating at the Old Oak Tree, the food is high standard and high quality, but at a reasonable price the service is always great. Accessibility is good as there is a ramp to the back conservatory door, though parking at the top of the carpark can be busy which means a small hill to walk up from the lower car park. On a weekday late lunch it was still busy but not overly so, so was fine to get a table.
