Very nice meals. Well served and the pub was busy but they do not cram in the tables. Beef was very well cooked. Tender and tasty

Very very nice.... Alice was very very helpful. The place feels very fresh and crisp. Very smart. And very proper. The food still is not a 10... but not very far from it. We tried the fish and the chicken. Both I would say we're 8/10. But the treacle tart with the clotted cream was a clear 15/10.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we were looked after extremely well . Food was superb . There we 4 in our party and we had 1 x mussels 1 x sea bream 1 x fish & chips and 1 x pan fried smoked haddock . We were all very impressed . Service excellent. Atmosphere excellent food superb . All staff were friendly,efficient and went the extra mile . We'll be back again and can highly recommend The Jockey .

From walking into the jockey, we noticed the cleanliness. The pub was sparkling. It had a great atmosphere. The bar service was good and so was the table service. The staff were polite and cheerful. The food was lovely. We had the Sunday roast. Will definitely go again.

Wow what a difference, new owners, new chef and Ian is back!!! We had a fantastic Sunday lunch, beautiful beef and fresh vegetables. The Jockey is back.

Beautifully presented and tasting lunch with great service. What a little gem of a pub/restaurant this is with good quality ingredients and lovely surroundings. The set 3 course lunch for £22 is superb value. We will definitely return.

Absolutely stunning meal and amazing service from the Team! We were a table of 11 with many different meals and 3 courses, with wine and champagne. The food was brilliant and all courses were served promptly and efficiently. The wine and champagne glasses were kept full all evening.
We went on a Saturday night for the Mother’s Day, they did not disappoint. I highly recommend The Jockey for a great evening meal and a lovely selection of drinks.

Took my wife and mother for a Mother’s Day lunch, our first visit to The Jockey Inn and I must say what a great experience, the staff were welcoming and the service excellent!!! The food was spot on, fresh and cooked to perfection… and the sticky toffee pudding… wow amazing!!!

Visited a couple of weeks ago for Sunday roast and we had the best experience. Food was fabulous- 5star and service brilliant. What a beautiful pub and just cannot recommend the Sunday roast enough. Top value too! Just go!

Very nice meal, top service and their shared sweets plate was a great opportunity to sample everything. We will definitely visit again.

Date night without the kids! Lovely atmosphere and great decor in the pub. Food was fantastic - perfect sirloin steak and newly added chicken kiev. Prices reasonable too.
Only slight issue is that the waiter didn't know enough about the food so had to check with the kitchen for a few things.

Our favourite pub-restaurant in our local area. We have celebrated many many Happy occasions here. The food is spectacular, as are the drinks. The building is so well designed and the staff are always friendly and helpful. You should book ahead, you won't be disappointed 😉

This was such a lovely venue. Booked a table of four for my daughter's birthday. Lovely food,well presented and great staff. Very keen to help out on choosing from the menu. The only thing that ever so slightly put a downer on the day was the staff were wearing face masks when so many other restaurants have done away with them. It would have been the icing on the cake to not have to be reminded of what a horrible last two years this has been. But I respect their choice. Had we have known I would probably have chosen another venue.

Great upmarket gastro pub. We had Sunday Lunch for 8 as a birthday celebration and all of us had a great meal. The staff are fantastic and very welcoming.

Hadn’t been for quite a while and popped in today. We had one of the most delicious meals we have had for a very long time from the Lunch Menu. Very, very good value and absolutely delicious. Excellent service from Ollie (who is at the top of his game) and the efficient and friendly lady waitress whose name I forget (apologies!). I am amazed they are not in the Michelin guide. This place and the staff tick every box Thank you. We loved it.
