Recently visited for coffee and cake, really unusual place, lots of book for sale.
It's small and cosy, with great service and really good cake.
The building was a bank, an interesting layout.

Gorgeous small cafe. Super friendly staff, nice choice of light bites and superb home made cakes, oat cakes and flapjacks too.
The home made pasties are delicious. Chunky meat, not wet mince; nice!
Coffee uses quality beans with a nice blend of moderate strength for taste but smooth enough for those who prefer it less strong too. Ideal for this quaint, relaxing bookshop setting.
I heartily recommend a visit when in Upton upon Severn.

We visited this lovely little cafe on a wet Saturday afternoon. I was on the quest for a coffee and cake and wasn't disappointed.

First off, service was amazing - from the friendly greeting, to the table service it was amazing.

I came in for cake - ended up ordering from the menu for a light lunch. I went for the meat lasagne and my partner the carrot and courgette soup. Perfectly honest, we did not really expect what we got!

The soup arrived in a good sized bowl, steaming hot with obviously freshly made bread with real butter. My lasagne quickly followed with an equally impressive portion being served - with a nice side salad and more of the bread and butter.

I am often disappointed with lasagne, but not this time. Freshly made, lovely crisp cheese topping, good meaty sauce and lovely creaminess with the pasta. My feeble words do not do it any credit. My partner thoroughly enjoyed her soup - she described it as the lunch she didn't know she wanted until she had it.

Now the cake.... I went for the fruit cake and what a beautiful slab of it I got! Moist, fruity and fresh. Took me back to being a kid an my gran making Dundee cake for new year

My Americano coffees were equally good and the lady grey tea well received.

Thank you for such a lovely welcome and amazing food and drinks.

Gem of a cafe, where the food matches the appearance. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the Henry's breakfast was superb in every way. Fresh, home cooked food delivered with a smile. Lovely warm atmosphere. You can't help but relax here.

Amazing delicious toasted sandwich specials and coffee.
Hoping to save room for what looks like a fabulous cake selection.

Great. Just great. I moved away from Upton about 10 years ago. It's lovely to see a place like this having come back for a visit. The coffee, cake and service was also excellent

After a long day's dancing at the Upton Folk Festival, we were looking for some refreshments and visited Henry's tea room. What a delightful place! We were welcomed by the lovely owner who took every care to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The food and drinks were fantastic. We had some amazing home made soup. Everything was beautifully presented. Henry's really knows about customer service. Cannot fault it!

We called into Upton on the way back home looking for a spot of lunch. Come across Henry's Café what a lovely little gem. The building itself with it's books is cracking. Excellent service and great menu but do not expect to find big lunch menus it's not that sort of place but light lunch spot on. Food was tasty and fresh and if you are a cake person (who isn't). You will not be disappointed.
We will be popping in again 👍🏻.

This is such a cosy cafe, especially for book lovers on a rainy Sunday afternoon (that's us). I had a pot of tea and some toasted tea cakes, and the small child had a pot of ice cream (thumbs up), whilst the husband had chocolate cake and a large latte (also went down well). We left nicely full with a stack of books. Completely recommend.
