The Swan Hotel

Lovely pub and hotel. The room was large and well appointed. Very comfy bed, good quality linen and the pillows and duvet are lovely and soft. Nice breakfast and great service.

We had a family reunion this week and had a meal at The Swan. Really great food, reasonably priced and a lovely situation right next to the River Avon. Very attentive staff. Would recommend without hesitation

Called for food, the chef can cook a steak beer was excellent, warm welcome nice staff pleasantly surprised thx for a lovely evening

What an amazing weekend!
The staff were incredible under the circumstances and how busy it was.
Management were amazing with the staff and customers and big respect given to them for stopping service for 10 minutes to allow the hardworking staff a well earned break. We over heard a customer complaining about this and all I can say is shame on you and well done to the young owner who handled the situation perfectly and all customers, who actually understand, we’re singing your praises.
Everyone was rushed off their feet all day and they were struggling with technical issues but everything was handled really well.

Lovely and quaint little hotel pub. Very nice food as well, especially the breakfast. The owners are super nice and accomodating.

Our 2 night stay at the Swan was excellent. Lovely clean room that was warm and cosy. In addition the full english breakfast was amazing. Every item on the plate tasty and hot. Best I've ever had! Along with all this were very friendly, helpful and engaging
staff.We will definitely be back.

Only had food and drinks. Friendly and lovely staff, food was amazing and highly recommend this pub for a meal! 😁

Came in here for a dinner with our friends and it was a lovely experience and evening.
The building itself is historically amazing and traditional and warmly decorated too to a high standard. Toilets were spotlessly clean and what a lovely hotel, pub and restaurant.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our drinks were on our table very shortly after we all sat down.
We ordered two rounds of the Cod and chips and these looked so delicious and the portions were amazing, wow!

The other two meals were the Steak and Guinness pie and chips. These were totally delicious, one with fresh garden peas and mine had to have mushy peas...yummy!
To finish off our meals, we had amazingly delicious puddings too....
These were the Lemon cheesecake, Syrup Sponge with custard and an Apple Crumble with custard...wow!

Beautiful setting on the river Severn side and beautiful Upton upon Severn too.
Definitely recommend The Swan Hotel and do visit Upton upon Severn as well. Such a lovely, beautiful town and a selection of great shops too!

Beautiful hotel bar. Booked a room for my parents for a night away and this is the perfect location. Clean, fresh room overlooking the river severn. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Our 4th stay at the swan, lovely to see Debbie again, who introduced us to Luke, the new manager, which was nice. We had a lovely stay as always, staff polite, friendly and helpful, especially Debbie. The location is fab, and we love the old history and quirkiness of the swan. Rooms now are in need of some TLC, which Luke did say was a project to be dealt with. But we would still come back regardless, we love Upton and love our stays at The Swan, always comfortable and relaxed. Pet friendly too, which is perfect for us with our little Charlie

Visit this pub every year when attending Sunshine Festival, lovely food, cheesy chips the best I've ever had. Friendly staff who don't get stressed and flustered with the amount of strangers filling their pub. Shout out to smiley Debbie who served me

Popped in on Wednesday for a drink and something to eat, before Upton Blues' festival kicked off in earnest. Great food and service we shall return.

Only called in for coffee and cake (delicious). Just wished we had stayed for lunch as the meals arriving at tables looked delicious. Also- it was so spotlessly clean - every surface gleamed!!

Just had fish and chips with a pint of Guinness, excellent, pleasant helpful staff, in a lovely location.

Decided to stop for a bite to eat and glad we did. The fish and chips were freshly cooked and lovely - highly recommend!

Visited on Monday for some lunch, they have got the covid restrictions spot on! They made this very anxious lady feel very comfortable and safe. we had a table in the courtyard inside a personal gazebo, the waitress was friendly and efficient and the food was superb. the owner greeted myself and my mother, leading his team by example with all the rules they have to work to. So impressed!

Lovely pub by the river. It's had a fab revamp. Staff friendly and attentive too!
