Nice food at great prices. Tucked away from the main touristic hotspots. Lovely staff and good selection of food and drinks.

Great bar, here for a few hours, and had two helpings of the haggis fritters. Delicious!!

Stopped in for a bite with the family and we really enjoyed it. It's an unassuming place but the pub style food was very tasty and there were big portions. The chicken sandwich was particularly good.

Our 1st visit here and the food and service was absolutely amazing. The gentleman servicing us was quick and efficient, as well as taking time between drinks order and food order.

Now the food, ugh it was to die for, i work for greene king myself so i also love to try different ones aorund the uk etc, and your mac and cheese was definitely the best. Please give my best to the staff working tonight and the chefs, you guys smashed it.

Atmosphere was great, Fantastic fish and chips light and not greasy at all, a very tasty chicken burger, amazing iPa draught, very nice and polite ladies. Would definitely revisit

Quick stop for lunch, and a pint in Edinburgh City Centre just off the Royal Mile. Friendly staff, lovely food and good beer.

Great place for food and drink in the heart of Edinburgh, suitable for families most pubs in Edinburgh aren’t. Recommend the steak pie or haggis pie. Chocolate fudge cake is amazing, excellent service.

Lively pub with quality food and not just burgers. Waiter was helpful and friendly and prompt. Very busy place.

Great lunch right off the Royal Mile with amazing toasties…Eleanor was top notch and made us feel right at home especially since we had our 13 month old daughter with us..kid friendly, great food, and a laid back atmosphere…will definitely be going back!

Good location and good food. There is a wide variety of beers and ciders. The hamburger is a bit small, however it is tasty as well. I would prefer the other dishes because the portion is bigger. You can try hier huggis as well (local sausage made from lamb). The famous Brew Dog beer is available as well :)

It was very busy but it was dinner time, so I expected to have to wait a bit for a table.
Steak & Ale Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding were both spectacular. The wait staff is quick & attentive.
