Stewart was our guide for the 1 hour Edinburgh Vaults tour. He was excellent. The tour started on the Royal Mile & had several stops along the way to the Vaults, where Stewart would give us more information the area & the history. The Vaults themselves were great. The tour was just the right length of time for the subject matter. Well worth a go.

Booked this last minute and I’m really pleased we did! Our tour guide Ally was super informative and she articulated herself very well and with ease. I recommend doing this underground vaults tour to see a different side of Edinburgh& to learn the culture and history. The vaults themselves were very eerie and it was a good experience all in all. Definitely a must do if you’re planning a trip to Edinburgh!

This was a great experience, I highly recommend. The stories, history amazing. Guide Darren was very entertaining especially his "fowl" jokes. I still owe Darren £24 because I snapped a picture with him in it, pay my debt next time 😂😂.

Can’t fault the tour at all! Stewart/Stuart/Steward 😂 was amazing even if we did want to punch him at the end of the tour for what he did! It was a super experience which I hope to do again, the information and history aspect was incredible. I would highly recommend this tour if you want information and history but also humour.

I had a really good experience. Did the haunted underground vaults tour, the tour guide Chris was really good and full of knowledge. The start of the tour in the streets with some stories was really nice on top of the haunted vaults tour. Will definitely recommend this tour to anyone wishing to visit edinburgh and its haunted history !

Excellent experience, still happened in torrential rain, but Jordan did the above ground part as fast as possible and made it super fun! The parts inside the vaults and the torture museum were fun, informative and spooky. After several disappointing excursions on this trip to Edinburgh (none done by auld reekie), we considered skipping the late night underground vault, but were very glad we didn’t! All thanks to the excellent guide!

Our tour today at 11am was amazing. The tour guide was one of our favourites of the stay.
If you can look in to who it was that would be great because he deserves a pay rise!
Definitely worth checking out :)

I have done many vault tours before but this one was far the best I have been on. Eric was our tour guide yesterday. He was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. A very enjoyable tour! Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow. Just wow! What a tour. Did “The Terror Tour”
Our guide was called Darren. As Scottish as they come which was a breath of fresh air. Not “in character” and cheesy but a local who knew his stuff. He was able to be really really funny and quick witted but then turn up the heat when needed. This man literally made me jump off the floor on my Assle in the middle of a terrifying story. It made my night and his night. And everyone was having a much needed belly laugh. Everything was so creepy and terrifying stories. Didn’t have high expectations after my tour with another company the day before which was like a family tour and was playing a character …, so I got what I came for. So Darren, keep up the stellar work. You’re a wee star. 🌟 Thank you. And the work to your guys vault is amazing. Really creepy and number of rooms.

P.S. People may complain about the pub music sound that pulses through the walls but for me it actually made it a lot creepier. Sounded like hear beats.

Had an awesome time, Chris was funny, super knowledgeable and told great storys. Learned a bunch of cool stuff about the history of the city and the people who made it. As well as the horrible history that made the vaults famous today. He made it a ton of fun, i definitely recommend going if you get the chance!

So much fun and so spooky! Me and my girlfriend booked the graveyard and vaults tour and it did not disappoint! Our tour guide was called Fraser and he was very funny and equally very informative, with a very casual style of telling stories that keeps it interesting and it clearly worked as I remember almost every detail. The graveyard was really cool but going into the vaults was when it started getting creepy 😵‍💫 I even considered stepping out for a second to calm down! Would 100% do this again the next time I come to Edinburgh.

Late night underground vault terror tour. It was amazing. The guide was excellent he was acting and telling us the stories by passionate feelings. Terrifying and lovely excursion. That’s sound strange so you have to do it if you are visiting Edinburgh.

Highly recommended! We took the graveyard and vault tour. Our tour guide Eric was perfect. He didn’t try to “spook it up,” he let the history spook for itself. He was so knowledgeable and his very presence gave the stories he told a sense of gravity. It’s a lot of walking, you get plenty of time at each stop on the tour but move at a good clip between spots in the graveyard. The vaults are spoooooky and we got some creepy photos!

I have been haunted ever since! I'm a skeptic, so was the tour guide Kieran. I watched him knock on the black mausoleum of George "Bloody" McKenzie, and I followed suit. I stepped over the threshold into the stone circle and was the last to leave. I was the last to leave the vault with the one "Mr. Boots" ghost. I laughed when my wife lurched when she felt something touch her hand.

Ever since then... After leaving the stone circle my neck and shoulder developed a sharp pain like someone clenching me. Lights above me at restaurants start flickering, my wifi isn't working, the heating in my Air B&B stopped working, things keep disappearing from my backpack. I keep trying to leave this tour a one star review for sending my home with a friggin poltergeist, but every time, right before I hit publish, something clicks it to 5 stars. What is going on!

Take this tour at your own risk! ~oOoOo~

We went on an afternoon History tour with Jordan as our guide, from Start to finish it was really interesting. It was scary at times but we still learnt a lot about Edinburgh's dark history and Jordan was really entertaining and told the tales perfectly. Exactly what you want from the vault tour- spooky and fun!

This was a truly amazing trip. Darren our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and his ability to tell the historic story was fabulous. He really brought the story of the vaults to life in all its horrific detail. Fully recommend!
