Such a lovely service from B&Q at Hermiston Gate. Just went in to pick something up and the lovely lady cleaned off the dust on the box and the young man held the gate open for me rather than heading off for his lunch. So sweet. Thank you both! 💕

Went in after getting some suggestions from someone, and met with Willie from staff. He was such an amazing help that it possibly can't be described in words. After explaining my needs to him, he advised me thoroughly the right items I'd need and how to make use of them with so much patience and answered all my questions. YOU ARE A STAR!!🌟 AND AND ASSET TO THE STORE.

Had an encounter with one of the managers (can't remember the name possibly a blond folk) and he was so unhelpful and wasn't willing to help me even a little bit with my situation. But Willie's assistance outweighed my bad encounter with the manager. Not just me, but I noticed Willie was helping other customers too with same level of assistance as I received whoever needed any help.

Would like to say big thank you to your wonderful assistant Jane who was most helpful and informative with us in store today. She helped us select light for my Aunt who needed a very strong standard lamp with reading light. Jane is most definitely an asset to your company.

Great experience and very good prices. My other half was looking for flower for our garden. Found a loads of bargains and very big choice of plants and flowers. Staff is always willing to help and assist You with shopping experience. Very much recommended to all.

Ok....just wanted to give a shout out to Willie, B&Q store adviser at the Cutting Wood section. Didn't even know B&Q offered this service. My son's partner was looking for shelving material. Willie worked to find the most cost effective option for her which involved one large board of wood. This needed to be cut to size for eight shelves. This he did taking time to cost appropriately. A whole station set up.which made the wood cutting easy - once you know how. And so very reasonably priced. Then he helped her to find the right screws and raw plugs to do the job. All in all very helpful professional efficient service with a dash of humour thrown in. Will pass the word around that this service is available. Generally staff here pleasant, helpful and upbeat. Thank you!

We were served today by Daylene, she had outstanding knowledge of the hardware department, her recommendations were innovative and ideal, any alternatives proved more than suitable.
Daylene was solution focused, she took the time we needed and all in all her customer service was exceptional.

Prices getting better but some still sky high compared to the Internet.. Check prices before buying.
Make sure you scan your B&Q card or download the app as it can help in the long run with money off stuff. Staff can be super helpful, go early morning to avoid all queues and hustle. Avoid bank holiday weekends and when it's sunny..

Staff are extremely knowledgeable and bend over backwards helping customers.

I'd like to particularly shout out the power tools department. I'm no expert, in fact I'm a software developer so I never use tools, but they helped me find the right hammer drill and associated bits and wall plugs.

A real credit to the B&Q name. I managed to mount my TV in 5 minutes thanks to the knowledge of the team.

An amazing selection of everything you could need for DIY. Its so big you need a GPS Tracker to navigate the miles of aisles to find what you want without being distracted from all the other items you would have liked to have bought on the way

A large shop with ample parking.

Lovely customer service. There was a lovely Polish staff who helped me with checking if the items I was looking for were in stock, showed me different alternatives to what I was looking for, then checked the stock of other b&q stores and provided me with phone number to one of the stores so I could phone them and confirm they actually do have it in stock before I make my way there.
