If you go for opening they have the most deliciously freshly cooked scones. Bacon rolls were fabulous too.
The garden centre is situated in a walled garden and its really lovely.

Went there to meet up with a friend for lunch. Good, well-prepared and well-presented light meals (sandwiches, baked potatoes etc) and really excellent cakes, including slightly unusual ones like Border Tart and Lemon Meringue Roulade.

Lovely plant centre inside a walled garden. Reclaimed ornaments and stoneware, nice garden furniture and a lovely little shop with some really quirky items.
We had lunch at the cafe which was really good, Coronation chicken salad highly recommended. I loved the mismatched, china plates, mugs and saucers!
The cafe staff were friendly and helpful and the food arrived very quickly.
We will definitely visit again soon. 10/10. 😍

Lovely wee tearoom with friendly staff. Had soup and roll which was very tasty and the roll was warm and slightly crispy. Excellent cakes to finish off with. Bread & butter pudding was particularly good.

First contact was by phone about aquatic plants. And the young lady assisted my request even thoe not in her field she went outside to check what the had. When we arrived (40 miles away) she showed us where to go and the expert on aquatic met us there. The service we received was 1st class and not once did he try to sell us we did not go there for. Then popped up to the tea room all home baking excellent food and prices.
We will be returning again.

So so helpfull. Had our 94 year old neighbour in the car. Help offered even to the point if we call ahead we can take the car thru the centre to the cafe. In addition although limited menu the food excellent and the range of hone made cakes has to be seen and sampled.

My favourite place for a coffee out in the Borders, always friendly and helpful staff, cake and coffee delicious and I love birds right at the window because of birdfeeders on window sills.

Lovely interesting menu at very reasonable prices. Always a pleasure and a treat to have lunch at Woodside. Nice to have a browse in the shop, too, and I found my favourite range of cards in there. Card payment accepted in both, which is very handy.
