Lovely cafe on the main street. Plenty of room so we could take in my wife's wheelchair - only one step to negotiate. Staffed rushed to help us in, and were very friendly.
Super selection of baked cakes etc. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the town.

Literally got in just before 4pm so owners still kindly let us order food. Warm welcome friendly service beautiful food.
I opted for the soup and sandwich/flatbread deal and wasn't disappointed. We both got Cullen skink soup- fab!
I then ordered the hot smoked salmon flatbread with salsa chutney n guacamole with salad and feta 🥗 utterly delightful! He got cheesy chips which was a handsome bowl full too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

After a few nights camping at Ruberslaw Campsite nearby, we headed to Jedburgh for a bite on route home. We had not planned a stop and just drove down their quaint little high street and came across Simply Scottish. It looked busy and inviting, we also managed to get an onstreet parking spot across the road, so worked perfectly. We were lucky enough to get a table for the four of us, two adults and two kids, 4 and 7 years. They have a simple and good selection of snacks and food. We both went for flatbread, mine with Macsweeny Haggis and my wife for the Hot Smoked Salmon. Both kids had mac and cheese. It all arrived pretty quickly and all really tasty. The walls are covered with beautiful artwork for sale from across Scotland, which add to the local and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended for lunch and the cake selection looked great too. Thank you to the team for looking after us 👌😋

Took a last minute drive from Seaton Delaval and decided to go to Jedburgh as I have never been before and we stopped at this lovely place and the service was outstanding and good price as well.. We had two cups of strong warm coffee and one coffee and walnut cake and pineapple and coconut cake which along with the coffee was outstanding and the cakes are home made and taste delicious so much so we took two more home.. Overall the price and quality was very reasonable and the toilets were very clean and staff extremely friendly and polite and it has a warm and friendly atmosphere.. Will definitely visit again on a Saturday this time when the shops are all open..

Great wee cafe in Jedburgh. It’s one of our go-to breakfast spots when we’re in the area. It’s always quite busy on weekends but we’ve never had a problem getting a table. The food is lovely and the service is quick. We each had the full Scottish breakfast and a coffee and it was about £23 in total.

This place is clean, warm and welcoming, we sat outside today as we had the dogs but the lady that served me asked me if I would like a bowl of water for the dogs and some biscuits she did not have to do that but I thought it was a lovely touch and good customer service. It is a shame we are going home tomorrow but when we return to Jedburgh this will be one of our first stops to get another lovely coffee and food.

Thank you for such good service and a lovely smile that cheered our day up p.s love the pink hair

Despite me and my friends suddenly rushing in, the staff were amazing and made our food fast. The mac n cheese with bacon was good, and they even gave us a pack with a bunch of sauces and nice packaging. Cool place!

Ran into this place out of the rain and couldn’t be more happy. Staff were super friendly and the food wonderful. I had the soup - Cullen Skink - and I’d drive back to this town to have it again. Can’t recommend it enough.
