Brilliant!!! Marys story told whilst walking around the rooms in this beautiful house. Her final letter, her demise and her beautiful tribute upstairs. Definitely worth a visit, lovely gardens with pear trees. Shop available.

Well worth a visit. Free entry as charity based, so make sure you have a donation ready. Watch your head on the small doorways!

Absolutely stunning building. Very informative and amazing history of Mary Queen of Scots. I was very happy to make a donation as it's free. It's had a makeover since the last time I visited and we spent a good hour and a half looking around. The gardens are beautiful too. Good little shop as well and very friendly lady at reception. Highly recommended.

Lovely house with so much history. It's free entry but we left a donation. The lady behind the desk was so nice and helpful after her husband rang her from the jail we were looking around so we could visit

Some embellished history, which is nice but perhaps a little bit twee...
At the end of the day, you don't have to pay to enter (or leave). Certainly worth going to if you are in the local area, good enough to spend an hour or so there. Overall it is a really nice house and garden.

Closed at the moment because of C-19, but well worth a visit at other times - there's plenty of information available and it gives a fascinating insight into Mary Queen of Scots' life and the time spent in this 16th Century Tower House. The garden is a nice quiet place to rest your legs, even if the museum isn't open, and there are some of the famous Jedburgh pear trees

Interesting building housing a number of artefacts from the period, including a watch that may have belonged to Mary. Lots of history about Mary's early life, leading up to her execution. A small but well manicured garden with views of the house. Well, worth a visit if you are interested in the life and times of Mary.

Doesn't take long to go around. Tells the story of Mary's visit to Jedburgh and the history of her sad demise. Beautiful gardens to picnic in.
