Ben from the very first meeting was very professional and certainly knew what he was talking about. The work was carried out very quickly from quote and cannot rate his work highly enough. It is very hard to get an electrician to come out for smaller jobs usually but nothing was too much trouble. As a result we had a few extra things fixed up and both he and Ethan went above and beyond to make sure a professional job was done.

After contacting 6 local electricians and Ben Smith being the only ones to respond, they carried out a small job at our property.
I am actually glad they were the only company to respond, as work was carried out to a high standard, in a friendly and professional way. I would definitely choose Ben's company again if we need any further electrical work. Thank you! 🌟

This review on Ben Smith Electrical covers a 9-month period (2where he and his team rewired our house. This necessitated significant channelling and wire feedthrough. Clearly there needed to be disruption but Ben was extremely considerate and thoughtful. He planned the project so that we could still live in the property. He needed no prompting about floor protection, dust sheets etc.
One key service he provided was to listen to what we wanted to achieve, and he then made it all happen. He offered advice on current electrical hardware on the market, so we have a fully up to date installation. Occasionally he did grimace about how tricky something might be, especially if he had just finished something and we changed our minds. But whatever we asked he did it.
Ben provided a complete solution. He brought in additional trades as required (plasterers/ plumbers), all of which proved to be extremely polite, helpful and competent.
I have no reservation about recommending Ben Smith Electrical for either a simple one-off job or a complete house rewire.
Not only does he provide a very professional service, but he is extremely easy to get on with, especially if you remember to provide lots of tea/coffee and the occasional cake.

Ben came for the first time this evening, so thorough with the safety checks, and full of great ideas which he’s going to implement next week. Hooray! Can’t rate him on value just yet of course but he’s calm, and first rate to deal with. Highly recommend so far 👍

I can highly recommend Ben. He was quick to respond to my initial email and came round to quote on the same day. His quote was good (sent by email) and he seemed like the sort of chap you'd want to give business to and feel happy to have in your home, as well as obviously knowing his stuff.
Communication was good and he turned up on time and completed the work perfectly. There was no mess left and it was all finished in an afternoon .
I therefore thoroughly recommend Ben.
