The Tudor Surgery

I recently joined the surgery after moving from Hemel. I have been feeling unwell for over a year and had hoped they could help.

And wow did they deliver. Dr Plaha made me feel at ease straight away, like I was being listened to and that actually something was going to happen.

3 months on, I’ve been diagnosed and treated and this wouldn’t of been possible without the care of dr Plaha and other staff at the surgery.

I cannot thank her enough. If you’re looking for a doctors I would highly recommend.

This review is because of a phone call made on Friday whereby a friendly helpful and friendly receptionist dealt with an enquiry in such a friendly and professional manner. I explained my son needed an appointment before Tuesday for a medical form that was needed urgently. No appointments were available at the Tudor surgery as it was late in the day but she managed to get one for today (Monday) at the Bushey surgery. I took her name but have since forgotten. I think it may have been Mariam ? Anyway thank you for your kindness. I’m so glad it was you I got to speak to. I’m hoping the Dr we see later is just as helpful.

This has been my surgery all my life and I am so glad that it's still open. I rang this morning for an emergency appointment and the lady receptionist was very helpful and was able to get me an appointment at the Attenborough Surgery.
All the receptionists have been helpful, kind and polite when I have either been in or phoned.
Thank you for all you do and thank goodness we still have The Tudor Surgery on the estate.

I have had nothing but good experience with this practice. I am currently on Dr Plaha's books.. she is always very helpful. The nurses are also very efficient. Fortunately for me , I only live across the road , so pop in , in person to arrange appointments, which I usually get on the day , if I go in early, so don't have to experience the allegedly bad telephone service, but that's the way with ALL GP practices as they're all understaffed and overwhelmed with patients!

Best surgery in Watford, all staff are excellent, they go out of their way to help if you’re really in trouble. I cant believe it took me to transfer from Callowland, they are miles apart.

Transferred our family here. First impressions are very good after seeing the nurse for registering and a doctor who was personable and reassuring.

I want to express thanks to the Tudor surgery in particular Diane in reception, who has helped with appointments and prescriptions for my father during this difficult Covid time.

Best surgery I have attended in years

Due to being a uni student I was no longer registered at this surgery (always been here before I went to uni) - I’d been through 111 and was told to contact my gp. Upon explaining the situation the receptionist booked a same day appointment for me & temporary registered me so I could be seen the same day. The doctor was extremely helpful, instantly referring me to Watford General and personally speaking to the consultant to let them know I was coming. A few days after, the surgery rang me to book a follow up appointment to make sure everything was still okay - something I was pleasantly surprised by! I know not everyone’s is the same but my personal experience here was much better than expected :)
