Great boutique hotel in a great very high end location. Well maintained, clean and cute. Staff is very helpful, professional, and pleasant

Only stayed here for a night, and room was perfectly comfortable in a really good location, but the staff was so so lovely and welcoming. I was made to feel more than welcome, even after I checked out, and I think that’s quite rare for London. I would definitely come back.

Broke down outside hotel. Lovely gent very kindly allowed us to use the facilities whilst waiting for recovery truck. Lovely service and very welcoming. Thank you!

Nice, spacious and comfortable room, good AC and ventilation. Amenities in room are good.

Bathroom a bit cramped.

Staff a friendly, knowledgeable and highly approachable. Breakfast is continental with a few egg dishes, and no full English (which is a shame).

Coffee is French press only which is also a shame.

A nice hotel, and we will stay again if necessary.

What a wonderful hotel! My boyfriend and I stayed for only two nights, but we felt so welcomed by the staff and so charmed by the hotel. The service was great and friendly, and the room was spacious, well set-up and clean. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to many fun spots, which was key for such a quick trip. And such affordable rates! Will absolutely stay here again during our next visit to London.

I actually loved this hotel. Location was central and walking distance to several tube stations. My room was small and you can hear your neighbors nearby but had everything we needed including a French press for coffee and was kept very clean. Staff was friendly. I recommend it!

It's a really nice hotel in comparison with other places at the same price point. The room I had was not big but spacious enough, clean and cosy.

We stayed from Friday to Sunday. A real treat. A lovely hotel. Beautifully clean and superb decor. Made very welcome, nothing to much trouble, Staff were absolutely wonderful. Will stay again if another trip to London beckons. Thank you for your welcome. Bill.

I was lucky enough to recently stay over in London at Montagu Place which I believe has been recently refurbished. I’ve lived in and around London for quite some years, but wasn’t aware of some of the gems to be found only a stone’s throw away from Baker Street and the tourist traps you'd normally associate it with. Great shops, restaurants, gastropubs and the very weird but wonderful Windsor Castle pub in Crawford Place (seriously look it up!).

I stayed in the “Swanky Room” number 21 which was opulently decorated, great bed, huge bathroom and the TV was well installed with no pesky cables on show (I’m slightly OCD and loads of hotels fail at this - it backs up the attention to detail throughout the room and hotel). The room had numerous magazines for guests to take away (including GQ - thanks!), fruit and I have to say some of the largest containers and greatest range of Molton Brown products I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The bath was great and there was a separate walk in shower.

The staff were really exceptional with nothing being too much trouble - check-in was quick (the bar and reception are one and the same so don’t expect a huge bar) and any query was swiftly dealt with. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but has a relationship with a local Thai restaurant (Two Points). Rather than eat in I decided to head out to Two Points after visiting the Windsor Castle for a pint or two. The restaurant is a short walk away (3-4 minutes) from the hotel and the staff were very welcoming - the food was great and it was pretty reasonable as well. There are also some great gastro pubs in the nearby streets which are just off the beaten track so it was surprisingly pleasant walking around the area.

Breakfast at Montagu Place is more of a continental affair as they don’t have a massive kitchen. The selection of juices, fruit, cereal and ham was great and they also serve eggs cooked to order, so whilst not the full English, it was very good with a decent espresso as well. I am sure if you wanted a full english this could be found in the locality but after the Xmas excess it was probably best to avoid this!

Overall Montagu Place is a bit of a hidden gem - really great rooms, excellent staff and a location near to a number of stations taking you into the very centre of London - Highly recommended for someone looking for something slightly out of the ordinary and who appreciates great service.

Made a last minute booking. We had a lovely room. Extremely comfortable and the staff were amazing - especially Cristian, who helped me out with a charger and sorter our room.

Clean, updated hotel with friendly staff. Quite affordable. Excellent Marylebone location. Skip the breakfast, though; it's overpriced and there are better options on Baker Street a few blocks away.

I was just browsing and wanted to see what this place looked like as I have some family staying over in the New Year for a few days. I was pleasantly surprised when a gentleman at reception greeted me and made me feel very welcome. Needless to say that I will be making a future booking here. Thank-you very much Damian for your excellent hospitality. You're a credit to this hotel.

Quite a small place with about a dozen rooms. 24/7 front desk, breakfast, close to shopping. Really enjoyed our stay.
