I have used this shop for 22 years including 4 new bikes and a whole range of other accessories and clothing. Excellent workshop facilities at sensible money. On the one time I needed warranty when I had my Santa Cruz tallboy CC frame snap on me they had a replacement frame for me from the importer within 36 hours and I was not charged for swapping the headset or shock over- brilliant service.

Purchased bike from here recently. Very happy with the service. Andy, the manager, was super helpful and fitted all my extra items right away to the bike. The team know their stuff. Mtb focused store I would say.

Kudos to the guys at the store who went above and beyond by waiting for me to collect my new bike after the shop had shut, due to a nightmare of journey !! Very helpful people, scary prices now, my StumpJumper cost a grand back in 2000 that's the starting price for a tricycle now. 12 grand for a full electric mountain thing, think I will be back for a modestly priced treader at some point Stumpy has done 24 years now and is ready for retirement....like me.

All the staff are really helpful, and always give great advice. I have an electric Brompton and if I ever have any issues they are always there to sort things out. Special thanks today to Michael for sorting out the gears.

I booked a platinum service as I had concerns about my headset being cracked, the guy at the workshop rang me and explained that my bike didn’t need a platinum service and offered a silver package instead but would still check my headset for me anyway! Saved me money, did an amazing job, the bike has never looked cleaner customer service is brilliant for the most part just one guy who looked like he’d rather be doing anything else.

1st Class Service from these guys! From purchase to collection, simply brilliant. Purchased my sons bike on a Wednesday night, stock arrived in store Friday, .bike set up and ready to collect 1st thing Saturday. Thank you so much. 👍

I needed a Shimano bottom bracket at short notice for my wife's winter road bike, so rather than mess about tracing and getting one online between Xmas and new year with post delayed by strikes I rang LL with the part number. The phone was answered instantly, stock confirmed and put aside. Less than one hour later I walked into the shop and picked it up (at a competitive price). It's now on the bike and working fine. Thanks to Tom and LL.

PS I've just realized I've been using LL for a couple of decades for bikes, components and clothing and always been satisfied.

First and foremost the team at LL are brilliant, I had a couple of issues with I bike I bought from there the issues were nothing to do with anything LL had done it was treks fault.
They have been brilliant through the whole period of getting my bike sorted out, great customer care they showed paitents and understanding about the whole situation and I was never once left in the dark I couldn't be more grateful for the service provided.

I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this bike shop over their competitors.

Exceptional staff. We had a bike shipped up from one of their other outlets. The bike was assembled for us to try, even with a set of handlebars from one of our existing bikes. Not pushy, very patient, well informed and knowledgeable. Just exceptional customer service. This is the second reasonably high end mountain bike we have purchased from them.

I was building up a bike over the weekend and realised I needed new brake mount adaptors, so I gave LL a ring. We weren’t easily able to figure out exactly what I needed over the phone (my fault) so I popped the half built bike in the car and headed over. Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon the workshop staff (Michael and Stu) took the time to have a rummage around and find exactly what I needed and we’re an absolute delight to deal with. Thanks to them I was out on the trails the next day. I’m really happy to have found such a gem of a local bike shop.

I Ordered a new bike online for delivery , on opening the box and building the bike I realised the wrong size bike had been sent ,I rang the store and spoke to Tony who was really helpful in sorting out the correct size bike for me , even after the initial problem I was still really happy with the level of customer service I received, he even gave me some compensation (new pedals).I wouldn't be put off buying another bike from here,thanks guys!

I don't write many reviews but the service from these guys during a particularly difficult time was exemplary. Simon, Andy and the whole team were efficient, helpful and friendly throughout the whole process of a Cycle Scheme order. Delivery was quick and very well packaged, the bike was perfect and just required the usual bits reattached. Overall I was really impressed. Keep up the good work guys!

My trusty Blackburn pump presta valve adaptor packed up. I've had it for 18 years but took it to Leisure Lakes Breaston and the guys contacted Blackburn and ordered a replacement, which arrived in days! Pleasantly surprised and thrilled to have it working again. Big thanks to Cliff and the guys for sorting this with a smile.👍

Great bunch of staff, very helpful. We have bought 2 bikes from there now plus other items. You can find cheaper online, however, for me personally when buying a bike it's nice to have a point of call where I can pop in if there are any issues.
