Since purchasing my Megane RS300 I wanted to find an independent specialist who would look after my car. Following my air con deciding it didn't want to be air con anymore and after numerous recommendations on social media I got in touch with Mick at Diamond and I was very impressed. Mick is a font of knowledge and was very helpful when it came to helping me with my problem. After visiting his workshop in Long Eaton from Leicester, I was even more impressed with his thorough diagnostic methods and the quality of the repair is also top notch. I definitely don't mind traveling knowing my car will be in good hands. I'm not surprised Mick is a busy man when his quality of work is so high. I'd definitely recommend Diamond for your Renault needs.

Mick squeezed in my phase 1 172 in December to get a few final bits done and the car MOTed after it had been off the road for almost 9 months for some major work in my garage. He went above and beyond to help me out with getting it through the MOT, and when it turned out the timing was way out on the engine he went out of his way to correct that so it could happily sail through it's MOT. Really chuffed to have found such a great specialist to help me keep this car going for years to come. Quick to offer advice regarding specific models and upkeep. Great guy. 👍

Always take my Clio to Mick @ Diamond for any specialist work that the car needs. Mick is very meticulous and makes sure the work is carried out to the highest standards! I always feel in safe hands when I drop the car off.

I´ve been taking my Megane RS265 to Mick because I know it will be in the best hands, and nothing will catch him by surprise as he knows the car ins and outs very well. First time I took the car for an inspection, where he really showed why he´s got a reputation. Since then I took the car for a service and he diagnosed a couple of issues that were pending.
He is also trustworthy and honest, which is not easy to come by.

Mick is absolutely brilliant, I’ve been using him for a good few years now and would not trust my car in anyone else’s hands, he’s honest very efficient and knows renault inside out!

He may have a waiting list every so often but don’t let that put you off, there’s a reason the wait exists and it’s because mick really is one of the best renault specialists in the uk :)

Mick at diamond is an absolutely incredible mechanic very friendly and very honest, If I wasn’t using him I doubt this car would still be perfect at 123,000 miles! I definitely recommend him he does have a long wait at times but he is definitely worth the wait!

I've been using Diamond Motors for years now and Mick is the consummate professional, as he's always been. He knows my car (RS182 Clio Trophy) inside out... which I would have expected given the fact he's pretty much taken it apart and put it back together again on many an occasion! Despite the fact that it's in excess of a 300-mile round trip, I still wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Car was booked in for a power steering pump replacement but had also developed a secondary issue the day it was taken to Diamond.
The scheduled work was done and diagnostics of the misfire which was related to the spark plugs which were replaced.
When picking the car up, Mick explained the issue and what he had done and also other observations on the car and how to address them.
Very happy with the service again and would happily return and recommend to others.

This is the most down to earth Renault specialist around, from the moment I turned up I was made to feel welcomed and relaxed. I was spoken through the diagnosing process and was told exactly what was wrong with my car. Mick really knows his stuff! Thank you so much for today and I hope to see again soon!

My RenaultSport Clio went to Diamond for her annual service and MOT and the service from Mick was exceptional as always. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Mick has recently worked on my clio trophy, a very very knowledgeable guy, who went above and beyond when working on my car, very approachable and offers a more personal approach. Not only will I use him again but my dad has also been using mick the past couple of years too and wouldn’t go anywhere else now, I can see why! Will certainly use mick again.

I generally do my own servicing and repairs on my ageing Clio 172. Anything big and complicated I leave to Mick, as the car has been very reliable, the need has been intermittent over the past ten years, I am more than happy to entrust the work to a professional who knows these cars inside out.

I highly recommend Mick. Nowhere else I'd want to take my car after this experience. Super knowledgeable and charismatic and despite me thinking my issue was complicated, Mick tackled it no problem, and I was in and out within 4 hours which far exceeded my expectations.
