Beechwood Park

Stayed in the caravan park with friends. A fun time indeed. My grandson caught some nice fish while we enjoyed live music and a great BBQ.

Attended an annual event held here. Been a fair few times. It's fabulous. Out of the way yet close to major road network. Glamping pods and dome tents, chalets or good old caravaning style. Well worth a stay over. Fishing lake too. We love it. 👍☺

Very clean toilets & showers.
Everything is well looked after.
All of the staff were friendly & chatty.
Nice lakes to fish on.
Me, my partner & our children loved it and will be visiting regularly. 10/10

A great little Place to Fish on light Tackle
IE float or Feeder Whip or Pole
Nice clean n tidy Fishery and a brilliant place to bring ya kids to teach or show them how to fish
It also has a Campsite which is well equipped for Tents or Caravans n Motorhomes and also some Beautiful Log Cabins
It has a Small shop on site launderette showers and a little Tackle shop for your Fishing needs all in all a Lovely little Place to stay and I nearly forgot a short walk away Literally is Elvaston Castle which is worth a look also

In August 2018 we stayed again at Beechwood Park in our camper van (VW of course) with two rough collies and we like the place. Quite apart from the lovely flat grass field, the quality hook up, the immaculate shower block and the fact you can order a Chinese take away for delivery from nearby village Borrowash, right to the site, the camp management is friendly, relaxed and super helpful. We don’t fish, but if you do there’s lakes a’plenty and a shop for tackle etc. It’s quiet, lots of wildlife including terra dactyls (herons) flying around making lost world noises and fish jumping out of the water seeking to avoid the fishing fraternity no doubt! This site suits us well. Yes there are some disappointed visitor reviews but for sure, all sites have their idiosyncrasies and one can usually find something to criticise but for us, it being a simple site, not too posh, officious and expensive, it fits the bill perfectly. Excellent visit here stayed in a lodge with friends, spent our time at the July braai and had a ball as usual. Many thanks Bobby and crew.

Stayed here with family and we had a fantastic time. Loads to do , the log cabin was so cosy, everything that you need a home from home didn't want to leave.lovely and clean and the owners so helpful . Definitely recommend staying here . Thanks for having us, we will be back.Mark and Tracey

Very nice place we went for the zambizi fest and must say the facilities are all amazing and the toilets the best i have ever seen from all the places i have ever camped, and always clean, nice touch having music in there as well👍😁will be going back there very soon💪😎👌

Stayed for 2 nights on camping and touring field on 16th and 17th April 2021,had a brilliant time. Had a lovely walk to Alveston Castle which is just down the road, and weather was nice for us.

Nice Lodge.

My favourite campsite in Derbyshire. Cabins, Fishing, really good warm toilet and shower block, Elvaston Castle across the road and not that far from the nearest pub and shops to walk.

We arrived at beechwood Park and thought it was a great location. Yet when my campervan broke down Terry couldn't help enough. l had too stop another night there was no problem .a very friendly site

Warm and friendly, great facilities and excellent prices. Lovely quiet spot. We've returned here almost every year since 2012.

What a nice family friendly place. Great camping area great amenities. Friendly people!
