Nice place to enjoy the grounds of the castle and country park. Castle itself is quite small and not open to the public but definitely worth exploring the grounds. There is a cafe and public toilets available. Will be returning to continue exploring with the family.

Lovely place geeat walks and veiws,tucked away behind a lively village. Great fir kids wearher permitting.

Lovely place, with plenty of parking. Always a nice few hours walkaround. There's a nice little cafe in the middle. With toilet facilities. Lots of little things to see as yoi walk round.

Been visiting for as long as I can remember. We'll kept grounds, good walking spot (as easy as it gets, very accessible). Worth a visit any time of year.

Clean. Took me a few minutes to fathom out how to use parking meter with my debit card, my son helped, but it also takes cash 😊 cafe open with take away food and drinks. Cafe toilets closed but you can use toilets in the courtyard near to the cafe. Had a lovely walk under the trees by the water, plenty of room for everyone there at the time. Sooo lucky to have this park. Let's look after it please... Enjoy 🤗👍

I love it here. I've spent many years exploring the grounds and will continue to do so for many more. Great walks here. Lovely old woods too. There's something interesting around each corner. Look out for fairy doors on old dead tree stumps and lots of hidden kindness rocks. Wyatt's cafe is great value and very friendly. Under normal circumstances theres lots of seating outside. There's a second cafe through the courtyard, gift shop and public toilets. Great place for picnics and meeting friends and family (apart from during the pandemic) and lots of places and space for kids to play. Good covid measures currently in place.

Carpark is good £2.50 for 2hr in a car . Fee toilets . And a play ground for children

Beautiful place, not National Trust owned. Its huge, we went for the Steam fest which was really good, lots of other lovely stalls selling everything from cakes to wool? Food and drinks were expensive as to be expected. Would love to check out the castle and grounds next time. Check their website for events calendar.

Be prepared to pay by either cash or card because the pay stations are sometimes a bit "iffy". Love Elvaston Castle - or rather our dog does as she loves a swim/walk in the stream! 💕Lots of space for children and dogs to have a run around!

Lovely car park it does what it says a place for cars

It's a gravel carpark plenty of disabled spaces Free parking if you display your blue badge. Coach and horsebox parking near entrance to the park. Maximum daily fee £4.80 in the carpark which i think is really good value for such a beautiful place. Coffee and snack plus ice-cream van/s and children's play area. Pretty big queues but seem to be moving quickly. You can even hire all terrain disability scooters. Lovely walks shame the English and Italian gardens closed. Tire the kids out big open spaces to run in. Highly recommend a visit...😊👍

The car park gets filled up very quickly during days when events are held or during summer time. Its great walking through the castle grounds which is very relaxing. There is ice cream for sale during the hotter days so you can treat yourselves.

A lovely park to visit, the dogs love it. Car park charges not too bad, £1.60 for 2 hours. Plenty of parking. Childrens playground, cafe & often, especially in the summer, an ice cream van.

Good place to park up and walk around the castle grounds.

Nice enough as far as car parks go, the ticket machines can be temperamental though, toilets located by entrance as well as a mobile coffee van

Great value.....so you can enjoy more time there ....I think it was £4 for all day....

Great place for walking round with kids and dogs also good to run round and horse riding. Cafe nice to.

Located close to Derby.
It is one of my favourite places to take a walk and relax around Derby.
